Look, if Trump just want to oust Maduro and replace their commie government using drugs as an excuse, I'm all for it, but if it was really about drugs coming into the country, we'd have invaded Mexico long ago.
Something tells me Trump's biggest backers don't want that.

The term deep state is rather nebulous. Let me redefine it in this case as rogue elements of the CIA and their related NGO's. The MIC would probably be all in on anything involving military action and likely isn't profiting from the drug money.
It's hard to direct the conversation towards definitions or elaboration when a dozen of you are having your own unrelated pissing matches inside of it

The intended destination(s), as far as the Venezuelan boats go, is known. It is going to the Caribbean (though many people refuse to acknowledge that), primarily the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and the USVI. We could lean on all of those and shut down most of the entry.
