Easy to see he’s a slime bucket. There are others that will get the job done. Very doubtful he gets approved.

I emphatically voted for Trump.

“Daddy Trump” is a trite cliche used by simpletons. Like you.

I was making fun of someone else for saying it earlier in the thread.

Doesn’t change the fact it is a trite cliche used by simpletons.

The point is, you don’t have to blindly follow everything “your guy” says. It’s ok to call out missteps and keep people honest.

I'm still waiting for a misstep to show up in this thread, so far all I have seen you do is point at Gaetz and yell "guys, he is really mean and other cool people don't like him"

Newsflash, we voted for mean tweets..we don't give a single frick if he is a douche canoe, if he cares about the American People getting ripped off then we don't care.

Did you vote DeSantis because he was just a "nicer trump" ?

I dont care about his personality, I care about his mission and his effectiveness

eric holder and merrick garland are probably nice men that were respected on the DC coctail circuit yet they have done unspeakable damage to America

DOJ is a viper pit full of lawyers, it will take a douche to upset the status quo and realign the DOJ’s mission. the old guard will fight him every step of the way, if he is an a-hole or a douche but is effective in undoing the viper pit then I am all for it

Agreed. All I was doing was stating why people don’t like him. Pretty simple but for some reason everyone here got butthurt and assumed I was a Dem, or RDS fan.

Again, I can agree with someone politically and still call a spade a spade.

Have you considered just for a second that the people extremely close to you really enjoy the gravy train currently in D.C.? If I was sitting there, getting all the benefits of the job (even not to the extent of some), I might say the same since it benefitted me. This is exactly what is wrong with the culture in Washington. It's not about benefitting the American people first, it's about benefitting those directing funds...and then it's about manipulating the American people to make sure that continues. This is why the election was so telling...common people are tired of it.

Your "insiders" may not like Gaetz, but again, that's why everyone voted for change. We (and you apparently) voted to go in a different direction. Let the man who was voted in make that change, however he has to do it. Hurt a few feelings and gravy trains, I don't think anyone will give a damn down the road.

Solid points but I would trust these people, and one in particular, with my life. They are all Ron Paul Republicans as well.

Yeah, he's the only appointment so far that I have frowned about.

He says the right stuff and seems to know what's he's talking about, but I don't trust him.

Just something about him.

Hopefully I'm wrong about him.

Here’s my question to you, and I wouldn’t ask just anyone this question - it could possibly destroy a lesser man, the depth of it. Anyhow, here’s the question: If Gaetz is the heroic seeker of justice that some are saying, and he’s aware of all these dastardly deeds and such thus he’s ready willing and able to pursue all the bandits and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law, then why shouldn’t he have already divulged to we the people all of this critical information, by any and all means necessary? Seems a little bit weird to just sit on any such information, perhaps even evidence helpful in the prosecution of some of these criminals. We should know everything he knows. And I mean everything. Why do we not?

What a dumb convoluted argument from a dumb convoluted poster.

What these congresspersons are doing is legal. It shouldn’t be. But it is.

I’m not supporting Gaetz because he’s some information repository of crimes to be prosecuted. He’s a fighter and won’t pull a Sessions or Barr when confronted by the swamp.
