Does he take the job "pending" or "presumed" until either confirmed or not?
OR...
Do they have to name acting from within the current ranks?
Because the latter could be a disaster. That "acting" will be funneling as much ammo as he can while he can to Schiff, Durbin, and Jeffereys for a 2026 impeachment.
