Look. I think rape, or child abuse are two of the worst crimes a human can commit. The thought of harming a child makes me want to punch someone. However; this metoo movement and this idea that any "accusation" is true, has gotten out of hand.

From the Duke lacrosse players, to the Frat scandal at Virginia. Now if a man is even accused of hurting a woman, despite no evidence besides her saying it, we try to burn the man at the stake. This is dangerous. This unsubstantiated mob mentality that women are all victims.

Also sexual harassment is NOT rape. Yes saying "nice arse" would be completely inappropriate in the work place..but acting like that is a sex crime is ridiculous.

When do we allow due process to occur before destroy a person's life?

If you rape a girl, or a child, life in prison. No possibility of parole. You don't deserve to get out in my eyes. Especially a kid..you fricking animal.

However; we are getting completely out of hand. I know I have worked with females and told sex jokes..and none had an issue with it. Should I be worried I am going to get sued ten years from now? I mean when I served I slept with a lot of the girls I worked with so I guess they didn't mind the sexual endow-endows. Still.

I rambled a bit..always do. Anyways. It's getting tough. Obviously Weinstein should rot in hell. But doesn't mean every guy accused is like him either. So can we at least let damning evidence come out before destroying people's lives?

It's a problem because these "men" are a bunch of pussies and let these shitass women walk all over them.

One of the other posters on this board decided to take an opposite approach when I argued that Franken was stepping down b/c the facts could be proven.

Why would people step down from their positions if they have nothing to hide? Doesn't make sense at all. Don't even bring up bullsh*t like preserving the sanctity of Congress either considering tons used OUR money to fund their escapades payoffs

Just like the Kansas gal today, they are guilty or they wouldn't step down.

No doubt Weinstein is a pig but a lot of those stories sound more like prostitution than harassment or assault.

Like anything else the Left pushes, you have to ask yourself, "what is the bigger goal here?"

Well...?

If you are heterosexual male and want a piece, any move to obtain said piece could get you screwed but not in the manner you intended.

Well, when you look at history, black men have been lynched all the time for "sexual assault" of white women, often to be revealed later as either consensual or a fantasy altogether.

Now the only thing that's changed is that white women are demanding nooses for white men too.

Yes, agreed. The process was:

Woman makes accusation
Black man murdered
Find out later it was a lie

Pretty standard.
