Are there rumors going around or something that Floyd did to the officers to say this was just? The FBI keeps stressing quick but thorough investigation. It’s seems to me like they are looking for something or someone to justify the cops act. This press conference seems odd.

Cops are notoriously hard to convict so they gotta be real careful here. Don't blame them for dotting all their i's, but this is going to make for another round of rioting tonight guaranteed.

Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman: "That video is graphic and horrific but there is other evidence that does not support a criminal charge. I will not rush."

I think it's trying to calm down the citizens before they burn the whole city down, letting them know they are on it.

they need to play this right down the middle

they can't come tilted against the cops like the DOJ did in the Michael Brown case,

and they can't do the opposite either.

So in other words, they just need to do their jobs? Got it.

How is it even possible? Seems pretty cut and dry for manslaughter from what I saw.

Usually when an incident like this happens the local police union issues a statement that at least lukewarmly supports the officer involved. That didn't happen in this incident. I would take that to imply "We got nothing to argue here, the officer fricked up and he fricked up on a scale so large we can't even help him bullshite his way out of it."

Probably Covid related. What would you do if a guy you had arrested was refusing to get in a car and told you he had covid and started spitting. Would make sense due to them already contacting EMS.

Not saying this happened, just playing Devils Advocate. Also he shouldnt have been kneeling on his head.

Well, I'm sure they'll say that, but I'm also pretty sure the dude was in handcuffs.

Picked an awesome city for it. 100,000 Somali refugees Obama planted there are the ripest recruiting ground for Muslim terrorist in the US.

We don't know cause of death. Initially it was inconclusive.

If there was evidence of strangulation from the guy having a knee on the neck, that should've been evident on an autopsy.

Perhaps we should see what killed him.

My guess is it will be covid related due to an underlying problem (broken neck).
