The only problem I have with striking drug boats is that we aren’t doing enough of it.

That works both ways. Those who told us Saddam had an active weapons program were also lying.
As Roger’s linked article indicates, the WMDs found in Iraq were degraded old stores left over from the Iran-Iraq War, not newly manufactured stores as was promised by Colon Powell. Indeed, most everything we were told about the Iraq War was based on Deep State lies.
The CIA and U.S. State Department colluded with Saddam in covering up his use of chemical weapons against the Kurds in the infamous 1988 Halabja chemical attack. Which should surprise no one since Western intelligence agencies seeded Saddam with the capability to build WMDs in the 1980s during the Iran-Iraq War.

You could piss off some cook or waiter who could sprinkle some on your food and that’s that. Hell, some accidental exposure somewhere could kill you. I think it’s a good thing that there’s less of it in overall circulation.
