Watched videos of the marchers.
Chanting "blood and soil"
Giving Nazi salutes while standing at the statue
Not a good look. These folks have lost the plot. They think it's cool and edgy to be "Nazis." Id bet the majority have no idea what the Nazi party was really about, what their platform was based on, and who they hypocritically aligned themselves with politically and religiously. Unfortunately this was always going to happen though. It's the swinging of the pendulum.
If you constantly vilify a group of people as perpetrators of racism, sexism, homophobia, Islamophobia, etc., and marginalize and disparage them for no other reason than their sex and color of their skin, they will eventually turn to nationalism and violence. This is especially true when they see a society - that their families have positively contributed to for generations - ripped apart by those whose only participation in society is that of a parasite.

quote:they have every right to march. dont think anyone on here is talking about how they shouldnt be allowed to march. but lets not paint this as something that it isnt. they can march all they want and spew their hateful bullshite, but thats what they are doing. spewing awful shite. they have every right to do so and i would argue for their right to do so 24/7,
They have a right to march.
but it is what it is when it comes to their message
quote:i wont argue against that but i do find it interesting how this thread has developed compared to the threads about the BLM and other similar marches
They are no more dangerous than ANTIFA and BLM.

Do you know any Nationalist that were there?
I have a feeling that we have some actors doing work.
Employed by the same organizations that fund the other side of the coin.
Sadly, many people will fall for it.
Instability is the goal.

Fears over slavery being ended by the north was expressly stated as bedrock reasons for secession by the seceding states themselves
So, yeah, forgive me if I don't shed a tear over confederate monuments being targeted for removal.

We could play this game all day.
And actually yes, the organizer of the rally is an open white nationalist. Jason Kessler. Richard Spencer also helped organize the event.

This is enough reason to keep the statue. Let's not forget that Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence, too. If you don't like the statue, go to another school.

Charlottesville Mayor Mike Signer condemned the protest in a statement, calling the gathering "a cowardly parade of hatred, bigotry, racism, and intolerance."
"Everyone has a right under the First Amendment to express their opinion peaceably, so here's mine: not only as the Mayor of Charlottesville, but as a UVA faculty member and alumnus, I am beyond disgusted by this unsanctioned and despicable display of visual intimidation on a college campus," he said.

I mean, it sounds like the left is getting upset that Trump has put the balls back on the right after you guys emasculated it for so long.
The right is fighting back, and no matter how much it is right, wrong or indifferent, you guys are scared. You poked and poked and poked the bear.
Well, the bear is awake now. Deal with it.

So the right is a bunch of racist white supremacists with fascist sympathies? At least you aren't trying to hide it. I can at least appreciate the honesty.
Posted on 8/12/17 at 3:39 am to Errerrerrwere
first off, who are "you guys"? second off, i never once claimed anyone who votes republican or leans right were racists. third off, literally none of that makes the awful shite this group of people spewed tonight any better

Reread the post, you big twat.
"Right, wrong or indifferent."
But this is what the right is tired of and why you are seeing them revolt against your bullhit:
And your pussy arse won't silence me with this:
Melt, cuck. We won't be silenced anymore.

I'm just explaining where their anger is coming from. I could give two shits whether you agree with what they spewed or not. It's no different than the attack on the white working class people of this country that had to endure over the last 12 years.
I have no sympathy anymore. Zero fricks. This was the left's ideological attack on Christianity, family values and civil liberties.
Don't cry about it now.

Where do they come from? and where do they really get their support?
I am damn sure it isn't real.
