But false statements alone =/= Perjury. They must be (a) false; (b) intentional; and (c) material to the outcome. When you're having trouble establishing the easiest criterion, then Perjury is an unreasonable outcome.

Comey/ Mueller have some real problems .
1) Comey was Mueller's underling and good friend in his years at DOJ....there is a statute that prevents this.
2) Obstruction is the Comey "Special" Three times in high profile cases which amounted to nothing, he used the obstruction charge to ruin people's lives. There was the Frank Quattrone prosecution wherein the guy was found completely innocent of any real charges brought against him. But Comey in NYC decided that he would pursue obstruction charges against him. The next was Martha Stewart where he basically convinced a jury that Stewart's protestations of he innocence were nothing more than an attempt to artificially pump up the price of her shares. The next was Scooter Libby in that he gave the OK for Fitzgerald to move when they knew the leaker was Richard Armitage
3) Comey believes that it is the duty of the FBI to investigate the government and has said so on many
occassions
4) He did not report Loretta Lynch's obstruction and interference in the Clinton "matter"
Mueller acquiesced on all of Comey's oversteps. Mueller is not independent.....not by a long shot
What you have here is a possible investigation of an obstruction of something wherein the investigative body is saying that no crime has been committed. The President asked Comey to affirm publicly that he was not under investigation(not a crime to ask for that btw ) Comey declined. Comey has questions to answer as to why he would not accede to a reasonable and legal request.
This is a shite show of the highest order and if you are a liberal and you truly believe in civil liberties and constitutional protection .....you should be pissed. The President as an American citizen has rights
