Exactly. More and more people are standing up everyday and saying enough is enough. Momentum is building and at some point, nothing will stop us from taking back what was stolen.

I'm with you, 100%. In hindsight, when the media and Hollywood elites kept telling us it was our greatest civic DUTY, we should have known it was a fricking sham.

Hopefully some on the Right don't wave the white flag. It wasn't that long ago the Left feared our "guns and bibles" and we had some control of the country. Frankly, while I despise the assholes on the Left, I blame the lazy/weak Right for where the country is now. It's not like the Left being racist, economically dim, duplicitous, etc., is surprising anybody, right? They are who they are. What's new is the Right taking the knee, deferring to the Left, and agreeing to be abused politically, socially and economically.

Because of Trump, they hit the accelerate button no doubt. It's almost as if they are playing catch up. The problem with catch up, is that it's rushed, & easily recognized by those with more than a gumball between their ears.

The sad part however, is that a lot of Americans have become fat and lazy. And feel defeated.

It's discouraging to say the least. All media outlets are held at gunpoint, or are leftist commies who are a grand part of the corruption.

I can understand your frustration. It fricking sucks.

No. What’s new is the electoral process being clearly and obviously corrupted. I’m no millennial. I’ve been active and involved since 1980. Regrettably, I’ve only recently put together the phoniness of it all. Go your way. Cheer your player. I know. I know it’s all theater for the controlling class. Peace be unto you, as John Adams said” may your chains set lightly upon you”.......

I’m clearly speaking to a comrade. Forgive if it comes across harshly

Yeah if by its inaction the right were to allow the left to say "the Republican lost because the right blatantly refused to come out and vote" then that would be the right completely denying itself the ability to dispute any election due to voting fraud and/or misconduct. One would have no choice but to admit that the left got more votes at that point.

I know I for one won't be a part of gifting them with that benefit and advantage.

And you feel beholden or subservient to the controlling class? I'm not understanding why you feel so helpless.

They needed us to vote so they could flip 'em to Biden.

I am an American of the pre-social media class. I fell helpless to no one but God. I am merely acknowledging the corruption of our election process and my unwillingness to pretend otherwise.

And again, I feel we would agree on most things....

Okay. So you're like tens of millions of others.

Now what? Fight? Give up? You've already said you're not going to pretend anymore that it's not happening, so it seems you have those two choices.

That’s a fair assessment. Let me expand. I can clearly see that the republic is compromised by actors obsessed with money and power. Barring an upheaval that may or may not be catastrophic, they will maintain power and money. This being a fact, my contributions may or may not be of any significance to the maintaining of the republic for my progeny. That being said, I’m no longer going to spend any of my short time tilting windmills.

Well then you're caught up in a viscous cycle because how else is "meaningful" change supposed to happen if not by virtue of the power of the vote? Maybe it's a waste of time, maybe it's not, but my suggestion is to be part of an all-time, record breaking effort to get out the vote next round.....and if that occurred yet we see the same thing twice in a row, then I would not think badly of your current approach to the situation.

I appreciate this exchange. It's been informative. I'll leave it with this -

Consider that all that you're reacting to, that has you to the point of giving up, feeling like there's not much that can be done to change things for the better (outside of something catastrophic) because the assholes have such a firm grip on everything - consider that that view is in response to more fakery from the Left. They want you to believe all of this desperately because reality is very different. Just like with the fake healthcare crisis, fake cops hunting blacks crisis, fake white supremacy BS, fake insurrection, fake Russia collusion shite - just like all of that, it's fake that things are so lost for the Right, and only by falling for that fakery first can it actually become true.
