Your post speaks so harshly of you, and your Aberdeen Scotland cohorts. But it is a perspective setter for those of us who might be (unbelievably) considering a visit to eastern Scotland.

Baby Boomers invented the technology that all future generations get to use to embarrass, imprison, or kill themselves, so from that standpoint they definitely fricked up, and that’s just the smartphone.

Trump/Harris, a lot of typical Dem voters went to Trump because Harris is legitimately retarded. But look down ballot and look at 2022, 2020, 2018, 2016, etc. And it's not new. There's a discernible pattern - voters generally get more conservative as they age

So why did boomers swing left to Harris?

I don't think they did. And why would they? Boomers (and silenters) were the only generations that majority voted Trump in both '16 and '20 (as I recall). Wtf could have happened during the Biden run that would move boomers towards Dems and away from Reps? Makes no sense.

Yes they did
65+ went from +9 republican to +3 since 2016
So apparently as more boomers get into this age range it’s swinging to the left

Gen x was the most solid R demographic in 2024

I'm skeptical of this.

For argument's sake - make sense of it. What happened between the '20 and '24 elections that would have so strongly swung the boomer vote to the Left?

Gen x was the most solid R demographic in 2024

If this is accurate, it's a good thing.

Out of curiosity, which exit poll are you taking this from?

I don't see Zoomers doing it from where I'm standing. My Son, who was God given to me in my 40s by my much younger wife ... doesn't have a woke bone in his body. At 26 he owns his own home. He puts away money for retirement while knocking down six figures. None of his pals are pussies either ... although there is one cuck in the bunch married to a smoke show sex kitten, even that one is still not a sniveling pussy.

Awesome, did you help your son out at all? Give him job connections and put a down payment on his house?

Well, do you think all polls are perfect? I'm sure you know I can show you polls that contradict your conclusions from Pew. That's why I asked if you could make sense of it - what could possibly have driven boomers from the most reliable conservative bloc (outside of silent gens) to a leftist retard like Harris.

I mean older people voting more against trump was talked about ad nauseam after the election. Guess you missed it

What age group consumes mainstream media the most?

What age group is all about free trade and was worried about getting their ss cut ?

Nah. I saw it. A Charlie Kirk post stands out, which was bullshite.

quote:

What age group consumes mainstream media the most?

I would guess that depends on which part of MSM you're talking about, but what does that matter? Do you vote consistent with the sources of news you use?

quote:

What age group is all about free trade and was worried about getting their ss cut ?

Or we could ask which group was most comfortable with socialism. Or how about which group self-identifies as lgbtq at a rate of about 20%.

Are you arguing that younger voters are more conservative than older voters?

ETA: if you would, post the link to the pew poll you're citing. I'm interested.

I know of very few boomers who are even left of center, so don’t let the few blue-haired grannies you see out there misrepresent the majority.

The world they created only enriched themselves at the expense of their children/grandchildren. They will be the first generation in world history to have lived a better life than both their parents and their children.

They'll all be rotting in the ground soon so that'll just have to be enough.

The concept of one generation "paving the way" for another in which those members might only be one day younger is absurd!
Not really. We had mostly gravel roads around here until Boomers went to work.

Our tax dollars paid for all the paved roads.

We even paid to build La.30 and most interstates from scratch.

We was "paving the way" back then.

You are delusional if you think life today (for everybody) isn't materially better/easier than life a generation ago. You have bought the Left's narrative hook, line and sinker. Congratulations on being retarded, soft and accepting perpetual victimhood.

Excellent description.

I wonder where Mr.Kennysaw was when this Boomer lived in a uninsulated shotgun house with no a/c, phone, tv, and very little heat?

I wonder who gave me this 1800 sq. ft. mansion I live in?

Wow, so many spoiled brats on here. Boomers aren't here to support you. Go to work, make your own money, and we may give you a trophy ??.
