Caesar earned a lot of money. How do you think he wants us to use it?
My proposal is almost 180 degrees from communism, and it is more capitalist than our current system. I would lower income tax, and excite the animal spirits of entrepreneurs. Then, when they die I would tax their wealth to make the lower taxes during their lifetime possible. That’s more raw capitalism than we currently have.

I’ve pointed out twice in this thread that I am not aiming this at middle class people. So the gift laws that are in place today would still be applicable.
As far as being jealous, I could be; it’s possible. But I am in the top 0.5% of wealthiest people in America. And that is a VERY conservative estimate. I have three homes on two continents and I fly GA about one third of the time. I am a little jealous of those who can afford to fly GA all the time. Everything else I want I can buy.

The people I know that inherited money are extremely happy, and I know many. Maybe a few are losers, the rest are good people doing great things with their money.

Most of the people I know have successful children, with a plan to pass it on generationally. On the other hand, congress will take your taxes, washes it through programs and projects so they, and their family and friends, can make millions that a portion is kicked back to them. Pass.
