It is working out exactly how Soros, et. al had hoped, if not even better. A humanitarian crisis, with CNN, MSNBC, and the rest of the world blaming Trump.
And now diseases (TB, AIDS, etc.), lice, and fleas are common in the invaders.
The planed timing of the caravan may have been a little off. It may be the planners wanted these conditions on Nov. 6, 2018.

Unfortunately, most don't get this. They still drink the Kool-Aid and believe the crap they are told. You would think after decades of nothing happening they would get it.
You would think after decades of them "not getting it", we would start "getting it" to mean that they have no interest in seeing it our way.

Most of the caravan members who were interviewed clearly stated they wanted to do,e to the US for jobs, killing thief asylum claims before they were even made. I can’t blame poor people from 3rd world countries who want a better life for themselves and their family. The blame lies solely on the organizers and financiers who sold these people a pack of lies for political theater.

Almost ZERO. That’s why the left leaves out the “political” part and just calls it asylum. To my knowledge there aren’t really multi levels to this. If a political regime isn’t targeting you and your family and you feel unsafe then you are just running from your fellow shithole countrymen.

Not to mention the fact that the way asylum works is you must accept it from the first country that you get to that offers it. Mexico offered and they declined. It has nothing to do with running from cartels or bad people. It has everything to do with coming to the US, getting whatever assistance they can get and also getting a job, and sending money back to their home country.
That is all they want.
In addition to the wall, we need to expand E-Verify for every American. E-Verify should give every American a PhotoID with finger print.
Require the card to:
Open a bank account.
Wire money anywhere (IE Western Union).
Rent a hotel room.
Sign a lease on a house or apartment.
Purchase a home.
Vote in any Federal or State election.
That and a $1000 per day fine to any company who hires anyone without passing E-Verify will kill illegal immigration. But we could also add a 25% tax on any money wired out of the country by anyone.

I don't actually dislike most of these people, and we can keep it thar way by keeping them TF out of my community. We have enough sub 80 mouth breathers here that barely speak English.

Yes, that was one of the ways the wall was going to get paid for from Mexico. It really needs to be implemented. Considering the exchange rate, their relatives would still be getting a fair amount of money compared to what they make at home.
