I just want to drop this story here. A great friend of mine was a Ranger stationed in Hawaii. He developed a rare disease that the doctors told him would kill him soon. The Army transferred him to a hospital stateside where he would eventually pass away.
This was leading up to the last election and he wanted to meet Trump a great deal. Somehow Trump was contacted and made the visit to the VA hospital to see him. We had shirts made that were in support of my friend and Trump purchased all of them to give to his friends and loved ones (Trump took him ones as well). A very small and kind gesture that changed my life forever.
R.I.P U.S. Army Capt. ANM
This was leading up to the last election and he wanted to meet Trump a great deal. Somehow Trump was contacted and made the visit to the VA hospital to see him. But perhaps more importantly, it's hilarious to see leftists who've been burning flags and shitting on American heroes for months suddenly trotting out the "Trump isn't a patriot" shite when they figured out that the country isn't responding well to their support for riots

There are countless stories like this about Trump...extending into his time as President.
If the press was just 50% fair, the picture of the man would be ao different.
I grew up under Reagan and I love the man (I wept when I heard he died and through his funeral), but Trump very well will supplant him.
He is a great man, and a great president. He didn't have to do this and we are lucky to have him.

This is where how Trump treats injured and dead soldiers’ families so great in private comes back to actually hurt him since no one knows what he does and they can make up lies. Trump spent his whole life in NYC giving money to the families of injured or killed NYC police or firemen.
