Biden ran on covid, which we now see is over after they withheld the vaccine news.
Impeachment or the 25th or "white supremacists storming the capitol" are all about preventing him from running again in 24.

tbh, it is better for the Republican Party, long term, to NOT try to run him again in '24... I don't think it will be possible, anyway, considering just how many lawsuits and criminal cases he's about to be fighting in 2 weeks time...
he'd better worry more about the SDNY than the GOP, here shortly

Exactly, listening to Carl Rove today, Trump scares the Repubs more than the Dems, and I love that Orange Bastard just fir that....

You are correct.
And when you say "they" I hope you mean everyone in DC, Republican and Democrat.
They see this as the best chance to rid themselves of Trump forever and clear the table for 2024.

If they do succeed in using the 25th amendment would that prevent him from legally running for public office again?
Posted on 1/7/21 at 11:11 pm to joeyjoejoeshabadoo
It’s not just him, they don’t want any outsider to disrupt their power again. This will be a warning to anyone else thinking about taking on the DC establishment in the future

Every MAGA Republican will be a target for Dems and the GOPe.
Dems want socialism and old guard Republicans despise working class conservatives.

Romney will be giving the Republican concession speech in 2024

I thought Joe Biden ran on Unity and Healing and didn’t want to prosecute Trump or was that just a bunch of bullshite designed to fool the lemmings?

We’ve seen what happens when he loses. Of course we don’t want him running again. It threatens our democracy and is anti-American.

I’ve also seen people saying if he’s impeached a 2nd time he couldn’t run again. I don’t think that is accurate though.

it's not Biden that he needs to worry about.... it's the Southern District of New York, looking at his books for the Trump Foundation... haven't you been keeping up with the news the past year?

no, it's absolutely accurate... if he's impeached by both the Senate and the House, by 2/3 vote, and yeah, that would most likely be a stipulation in the articles of impeachment, though they could vote on it to not attach it, but I'd doubt it...

Wish he would win a senate seat and take mitchs place. frickin golden.

I’m guessing Trump doesn’t want trump to run again in 2024.

You’re insane and stupid if you think a mere US Attorney is going to induct a former POTUS without approval from the Attorney General and the White House.

They may try. I doubt that there’s anything there.
FedGov does like trying to ruin people who get in their crosshairs.

Dems would love the Repubs to get stuck with Trump again in 2024. That would mean another Democratic victory.

ya'll really still want him around, huh? I think it would be the death of the GOP, honestly... personally, I think the Republican Party needs to do some soul searching, look deep, and figure out who and what they are going to be, going forward... it has become it's own worst enemy, between political opportunists trying to fill the power vacuum and getting light years away from the essential principles of the party, in general, I think they will have a hell of a time convincing voters they have their shite together if they hold on to Trumpism... just the way this independent sees it...
