How dare you use their own words to discredit them!

Watching sane lefties like Tim Pool and Dave Rubin become full blown MAGA over the past 4 years has been so satisfying.

It really has been eye opening.

These people are mentally ill.

Do they think they can lie for 2.5 years and then move on to another BS muh Ukraine lie? Who do they think they are fooling?

They think they are taking on their own party, who are sheep, or the establishment GOP, who bend over and take it.

I think Bamarep was the one to originally post that backfire article.

It’s been interesting to watch, and revealing.
Rubin is a smart guy, and principled. Other people, like the aforementioned Politico writers, are simply tribal loyalists and will embrace whatever position the party embraces, without much apparent thought.

He's trying to leave open channels for those on the fence to gravitate over.

I think it died in the late nineties, but we didn’t realize it until later.
It finally clicked for me in 2003. It was Judith Millers reporting in the NY Times that did it.
I remember one piece in particular, she was with a team looking for WMDs after the fall of Baghdad.
She’s in an empty field, it’s the middle of nowhere, and an unidentified defector, wearing sun glasses and a baseball cap, is pointing at the dirt. He says, that’s where we buried them.
That’s when it clicked for me. How do know the defector is credible? As far as I know, he’s just a guy in a baseball cap, pointing at a pile of dirt.
And if there were buried munitions, then why didn’t Miller wait a day or two, and report on what they found?
There was no follow to the article, because it turned out to be a hoax. Just some guy telling us what we wanted to hear.
It was just a man pointing at the dirt.

Rush has been calling them drive-by since the early 90s...
CNN faked several gulf war correspondences...
It's been going on all my life...

I don’t listen to Rush but that makes sense to me. There was a passing of the guard in that period.
