When I was a kid, my wild as frick older sister got on a brief religious kick (it didn't take) and took me to one of these churches. It was the sorta church that sent a school bus to pick up the kids on Sunday morning, and to keep you coming back, they always gave you candy.

Anyway. I get to this frickin' church. shite gets rolling, and all of the sudden, they all start flailing around on the frickin' floor, speaking in that tongues bullshite, knocking over pughs, and just generally acting frickin' crazy.

Scared the living shite out of me man.

I had a similar experience in high school. 30ish years later, I was experiencing some of lifes troubles and found myself again in a Pentecostal church, this time I was seeking.....
And everything I has made fun of and thought wasn't real fell upon me and lit me up.

This was 20ish years ago and I am what you'd call a back slider, but I know it's real and its for anyone who seeks it. So much more to the story, but....
I understand nobody is interested. Im just saying, its real. Jesus is as alive today as he was when He walked this earth.

Speaking in tongues is literally in the Bible. Meanwhile Catholics believe in man made traditions with no biblical backing. Also of all the things in the world this is what you are crying about?

Yes speaking in tongues is in the Bible . However , in the Bible , speaking in tongues refers to someone speaking their own language and the people in the audience hearing in their language down to the village in which they were born to account for different dialects.
A German speaking German and the English guy hearing in English and the Japanese guy hearing in Japanese is evidence of God. Mumbling a bunch of incoherent nonsense is just that … nonsense

People who do that sort of thing are actually performing. It’s common among evangelicals

Having the gift to speak other languages as a gift of the Holy Spirit is in the Bible.

Babbling Gibberish is not

You should really read he Bible. Try Acts and 1st Corinthians as a start. Then, take a dive into the other letters to the Church.

That is bullshite and a lie. Just because you've not experienced this doesn't mean it's not real.
Everything I've stated on this subject has been supported by scripture and my own experiences.

Oh no, Christians praying.
Amazing what triggers people.
People pray in different ways. If it works for them, leave them alone. You know freedom of speech and all that stuff.

Damn, do you people read the other post in a thread before responding with your ignorance??
Obviously not. Keep your head stuck squarely up your arse, doesn't matter to me. But everything you say is proven wrong in scriptures.
