There is nothing wrong with the 2nd amendment. People defending it, terribly flawed

My position is that the second amendment is pretty clear and worth defending

The problem is a large majority of second amendment advocates and advocacy groups are doing just an absolutely terrible job at defending it

I'm convinced they're going to frick it up and you will see ever increasing gun control measures in place

350 million guns in the US. This is how a war starts.

Maybe one can do a better job defending it, but no matter the angle taken to defend it, you can be rest assured the left would be doing the same thing they are now.

So your thoughts on that is flawed.

I'm not disagreeing with you but your post was incredibly nonspecific

By continuing to expand gun control laws at the state level

CO Legislation passes

Well then we’re doomed.

We need our populace to get smarter...so basically we’re fricked either way.

OK,let's wait and see.
You can pass any measure you want.
Nothing will change.
The 2A,is the only right that can defend itself.
Without that 1,you won't have any others.
and The 2A is for every law abiding citizen, not just the ones that you like.

No Power, how are they supposed to get smarter at their message?

The problem with LSU football is a large majority of coaches are doing just an absolutely terrible job at coaching.
I would explain what they should do differently, but I'm going for brevity.

Politically it would be smarter to not completely shut down

Many 2nd amendment advocates don't want to hear about ANY gun control measures even if it's ones that 99% of the population would have no problem with

If 2nd amendment advocacy groups were smart they would get legislators to write up legislative protections that could at least attempt to mitigate some of these mass shooting events. Then when the democrats don't want to vote on it you throw them under the bus. This can be done without hurting law abiding gun owners.

The problem is all the rednecks are so tone dead and stupid that they wouldn't even consider this winning strategy.

I was going to let the specificity develop as the thread unfolds
