Downvote. If there's no whistleblower then who filed the illegal report? (illegal because they lied about not being in contact with a member of Congress or their staff) Who went to the IG with the complaint?

To find out that there is no Whistleblower and they illegaly fabricated documents would be worse.

This is what I don't get. So the IG who took the initial complaint had to have talked to this person and vetted that persons sources(as it was 2nd hand) right? I mean there are rules even for a WB policy that requires them to be an actual person and their complaint actually have merit? Also there should be in the rules that both the Majority and Minority have access to meet with this WB and any other parties involved.

That same someone would have had to go to the IG's office first. That would have already come out by now. There's no way on God's green earth Horowitz is going to let something so easily found out like that stand with Barr and Durham looking under rocks.

Exactly. The mental gymnastics required to reach this point also requires believing that Louis "I'm storming the fricking SCIF because this is a bullshite witchhunt" Gohmert is in on it since he's flat-out stated that he and others in Washington know the whistleblower's name.
