Despite the overt corruption, lies, violence, and out of touch insanity that has engulfed the party, there seems to be no one out there suggesting they moderate.

I’ve come to the conclusion that they are literally soulless. They blow my mind.
Their zombie sheep that follow them blow my mind too. I can’t handle how stupid they are on twitter. Their constant “tax cuts are only for the wealthy” makes me rage. Their believing that is just inexcusable. And they’re STILL posting stuff like Putin’s puppet. It’s truly astounding after all that has come out this week

They thought they could expand the party with identity politics while hanging onto the rust belt, they assumed the Republican Party would stay cucked and keep nominating the Mitt Romneys and Jebs of the world.

I started to pile on with more soulless talk, but I’ll take it the other way since no one else will.
The truth is that I know many good people who are liberals/progressives. I really don’t know how they can justify supporting such crap. The answer seems to be that on some very emotional/primordial level, they believe that conservatives must be stopped at all costs. I think the answer is in their total disdain for conservatives, even though much of their view is actually of a straw man.
