Found this interesting. AOC mentions fatherless boy trying to be man of the house needing to sell weed to make enough money. She says he’s fatherless because the dad passed away.
Why did she feel she had to add “passed away.” Doesn’t want to point to the underline issues contributing to the cause of crime in these areas and the other reasons for broken homes? She also mentions passed away like its natural causes and not that they were murdered.
She can’t talk about really issues just push her agenda and make excuses.

I can think of a ton of shows that glamorized the lifestyle of drug kingpins that weren’t white.
Scarface
Narcos
Mayans
That’s 3 off top of my head, all were Hispanic
Almost all crime movies were based off minority gangs or organizations. Even ones with Italians took place at a time where Italians weren’t considered “white.” They were the poor working class immigrants.
All of those stories except a few were due to poor working class people trying to get ahead.
Blow and American Made are the only 2 where it was an actual white guy I can think of
