Government unions are the cancer within and the MSM (Lying media) is the scab. People need to wake up to how children and information are being "managed".

Agreed on abolishing all unions, but this is the poliboard. These folk are all about gov’t handouts and protectionism.

A public sector union's purpose is to lobby against the American taxpayer.

So I sit across the desk from the president/gov/mayor and I want money and you want votes.

So the gov/mayor is all to happy to give it in pension because they want be around when the shat hits the fan.

So they negotiate 75% of your top earning year and the year before you retire you work double and triple time so your pension the next 20 years is more than you made in the actual job.

Read a story about a guy playing golf with his son in law who was a heart surgeon in Arizona. On one hole there is a guy in his back yard of this monster house, who waved to him. He says to the SIL, is that one of your doctor friends. And he said no he is a retired LA firefighter and looked to be about 45

Mental fragility coupled with TDS is an existential threat to the prosperity and security of the US.

Her TDS and communism should entitle her to a rubber room in an asylum.

Oh, you betcha and those stories are everywhere. Sometimes I feel the reason they want our guns is due to the pension liabilities that are dangerously underfunded and coming due.

average California state pensions-

quote:

State Employees (CalPERS) $51, 288
School Employees (Classified) $25, 860
Teachers (CalSTRS) $68, 880
Public Safety (Police & Fire) $80, 316

At least California can pay their bills, I have no idea what Chicago is going to do. Chicago has more pension debt than 44 states.

quote:

Of the teachers currently receiving retirement benefits from the Chicago teachers’ pension system, 48% are getting over $72,000 per year.

Teachers in the Chicago Public Schools system are doing better than that, with an average annual salary of $84,796.

More specifically the 1,036 retirees already receiving annual benefits over $126,000 a year

quote:

At nearly $50,000 in pension debt per student, Chicago has the highest debt-to-student ratio in the state. It is far beyond the state’s No. 2 with at $6,289 of debt per student, DeSoto Consolidated School District 86.
