Developing population groups that are distinct from other population groups would meet most people's claims about who is indigenous and who isn't, otherwise you fall into nonsense claims that no one is indigenous to any land. Amerindians are as indigenous to the Americas as the Finns are to the upper Urals.

One would think a distinction being made about settling an unsettled land and Europeans taking it by force (or more often by reneging on a treaty) is salient to the point at hand but I don't know where you are going with this.

We know you don't think.

What makes you believe the Indians were living in harmony with others and with nature.
I doubt you could find an Indian who would trade their house in the projects for a teepee and a buffalo robe.
Hell they couldn't even make their own firewater. I suspect they are most thankful that white man came and shared their booze.

There is plenty of nuance that people ignore in all parts of human history, not just as it pertains to Native Americans.

I think the point is that bitching about getting conquered at the same game you were playing for centuries, centuries later, is a little like the Redskins bitching about the Patriots thrashing them in the Superbowl 50 years later when the Redskins had won the 10 before. That's how it was back then. One team had a better game plan. And Native American is also somewhat disingenuous, but God forbid that's ever mentioned. The ones we know likely slaughtered the "real real" natives before Europe even knew how to sail that far.

This generation can’t right their own wrongs, why they point to history that’s beyond anyone’s control is because of their desire to obfuscate everything

We haven't found evidence of a proto-American population that predates the Amerindian migrations though. Native peoples certainly fought with one another and did so plenty. Without such wars and rivalries, the colonial apparatus could not work, as it relied explicitly on disaffected populations to supply the soldiers who did the conquering.

Don't race bait natives. I am one. And I'm a hard working conservative who believes in justice, equality, family and fighting for what I believe in.

As far as I'm aware the DNA evidence rules out the Solutrean hypothesis. But I'm open to new evidence.

LINK - Ancient Pages Link

"Could these people have come from Europe?
On Chesapeake Bay islands, scientists unearthed blades, anvils and other tools found stuck in soil at least 20,000 years old. Professor Stanford said these ancient blades strongly resemble those found at dozens of Solutrean sites from the Stone Age in Spain and France.
The Solutreans left behind rock art, but no skeletons have been found, so unfortunately no DNA is available to study."

Never heard of Native American's having anvil's.

The DNA evidence points to a proto-Siberian population, along Y-DNA and Mt-DNA lines, which almost certainly rules out any peoples we call European currently. I believe even a skeleton found on sites associated with non-Native American tools had DNA that was almost certainly native. The tools issue is weird, and I haven't read a sufficient explanation for that, but the genetic evidence seems to rule out anything other than a proto-Siberian population using the land bridge or sea travel to populate the Americas.

Appreciate honest debate without name-calling. Unfortunately, unlike most college campuses today, people need to be free to express differing opinions and discuss hypothesis and come to their own independent conclusion.

Check out Species with Amnesia by Robert Sepehr. Very informative genetic look at human history through blood types and genetics.

I recall seeing several Tunisian Soccer Players at this years World Cup being tall-light skinned red-heads. He talks about those people in this book.

I'm somewhat familiar with it. I'll download it later and look through it. Alternative history books are always fascinating. The big problem is trying to fill in gaps in the historical record with what amounts to conjecture. I have little patience for that sort of stuff.

Outside of the Tunisian players with French ancestry (one player), the only other player with European features was Fakhreddine Ben Youssef, but that can be explained due to the large amount of Western European Y-DNA Haplogroups present in native Tunisian populations, which makes sense, since Tunisia was inhabited by numerous different peoples. The major groups are still groups that originated in Mesopotamia, but the third largest subtype was one that is also found in European populations, such as those in France.
