Oh, so it's just a minor waste of time and resources? Interesting....
Most government employees are a major waste of time and resources. This email effects absolutely nothing except exposing those who don’t work and pissing off arrogant government pricks, people just like you.

You think it stops at a 5 bullet point email. This is just trolling by Elon. It will continue to get worse until they get the number they want to quit.
Like what? Are they going to engage Salesforce?

In the private sector upper management doesn't completely subvert every level of management for notifications. Breaking chain of command completely undermines trust and communication. This isn't about efficiency but to completely destroy trust at every level.
This is completely false.

If drafting a 5 bullet point email is fricking with people and they can’t handle it…perhaps this program is going to do exactly what is should do.
Any email demanding people justify their work product after laying of a few thousand coworkers and then sending that on a Saturday is to frick with people.

I’m stating the facts. If those make me right, it doesn’t matter how many times I repeat it. The directive was very clear. Draft a 5 bullet point email.

The issues have been explained, you defend them. That's pretty much where this exchange stops.
I keep hearing about ulterior motives. Yet the directive simply states exactly what I post. If an employee can’t handle a single email, then they shouldn’t be an employee and this process worked perfectly.

I bet you could draft an email that listed 5 activities you had last week in 30 seconds. Stop being such a pussy.

@BBONDS
@Idiot CYBORG
No. I won’t. Just like I said no to the COVID shot.
If the USG doesn’t like my no answer then they can fire me.
I have several DOD contractors asking for my resume now. I’ll be fine, just incase you haven’t figured it out yet. I am the dude!

Perfect. I have no problem with that. I personally, if I liked my job, would spend the 30 seconds. If you don’t want to, then great. Don’t.

I bet if your boss fired half your coworkers and then asked you to send an email Monday you’d shut your dumb pants.
Especially if you took sick leave or took a vacation.

They’re asking for 5 bullet points.
Basically if you did one thing per day, you’re good.
One thing. In am 8 hour period.
Anyone freaks out over that is a fraud.

Clown world
I was in sales working for a private company
We were required to write a 5 at 5 and submit weekly to the owner of the company
5 at 5 meant every Friday at 5:00 we had to submit a Five minute essay of what we did that week and included what we had planned for the next week
Try it

I don’t see how people in this thread can’t understand how this email would be a little off putting as a government worker.
Imagine in the private sector you work for your boss. Good relationship. See them everyday. All is great. Then one day your bosses bosses boss sends you an email out of the blue saying tell me what you did today. From an email address you don’t even know who is reading. How do you respond? How detailed do you get? What’s the point of this? Does this matter? You don’t think your butthole would pucker up a bit? To top this all off, your boss, had no idea this email was being sent you and is just as surprised.

People get stuck in their arguments and fail to realize the bigger picture.
Its going to make people more productive as they know this has to be sent weekly. During the week if they haven’t done much they have to think about what work can be accomplished to make 5 bullets.
Its always present and will make our Gov more efficient. And those who tire of doing it will move on out.
Its really a nothing burger to productive people. But for those lollygaggers they will have to pick up the pace.
