Email is so short sighted.

1. What about all those whose work is to sensitive to be emailed.

2. There's no way they plan to process that email or get meaningful data from it...

This is the stuff of bad management examples right here ...

Keep trying. Eventually you will find the most obscure reference possible.

How about someone stationed in Antarctica?

Have you heard the expression "ounces equal pounds, and pounds equal pain?"

Those were all in response to other posts. The entire CEO topic is irrelevant to this thread, as I have posted multiple times.

I’ve explained to him many times that he jumped into a conversation that boogie and I are having that boogie and I are able to follow. DB got confused. If you don’t know DB…he is very smart, but every once in a while he gets confused or is just completely wrong. He will never admit it and he will always respond and just wear you out. At some point you just let him have it.

Clearly you have not read the email or its instructions.

I'm still curious how many phantom employees will be uncovered.

Pretty sure this is the entire point of the exercise. Also, real employees collecting checks but really working another job.

A CEO puts in place a reporting requirement and has HR notify the company. That is very common.

Then why wasn't it sent by agency HR departments?

When I worked for Wal Mart we notified by our HR and not directly from corporate.

Nope, I even posted the relevant quotes for you. We were having two different conversations and you got your wires crossed.

I'm in federal law enforcement, we did not get this email. It seems to be "office employees" only, from what I can tell.

Even if I had received this, it would be very easy to fill out and justify (no pun intended ) my work last week. Or last month. Or last year.

Try again.

If any phantom employees are found out, that should be grounds for immediate dismissal of the supervisor - if not outright criminal charges.

You were having two separate conversations with boogie, too? No wonder you got lost.

Don't sweat it, my man.

Therein lies the problem Peter. No one actually knows.

If you do classified work, then your supervisor can probably answer the question.

If you don’t, but feign concern on message boards, then you don’t need to take any action.

Anybody who can’t list 5 things they did at work last week in under two minutes should be fired. And anybody who says they don’t have two minutes in an eight hour work day to fire off an email is a liar.
