Exactly. There seem to be some on here wanting to argue this. There is no justification with the information presented. Period
My opinion is they fricked up and should be punished accordingly.
Why is that hard for some people to understand?

What I've quoted below is from an article linked earlier. If this is a true representation of their statements, then I don't see anything in the video that refutes is.

Arbery fell down on the pavement.
They clearly said he turned around so they did too so they could confront him. I personally don't think they should have confronted him, but I don't see anything in that video that totally refutes the statement the news is portraying.

I think they're going to overcharge them because everyone's all in an uproar and these guys are going to get off.

This part is contradicted by the video. They are clearly waiting on him already out of the truck with a shotgun

I don't think the video contradicts that statement at all. They admitted that they pulled up and Travis got out of the truck with the shotgun.

Where in the video did they pull up next to him? Where in their statement did they say they were stopped in the middle of the road waiting on him with their guns?

I feel like the article puts emphasis on the "black man running down the street" part to make this seem racial. How would you describe the guy when you call the police? They're going to ask you his race even if you don't offer it.
