No wonder you guys worship anyone who remotely says something conservative (Elon Musk for example)... you're already worshipping me and I've barely posted anything.

But when you can't rebut, I suppose the only thing you're left with is worship.

That’s dumb. Of course those European countries didn’t like Trump, he wasn’t going to fool around, like they had all been doing the 30 years prior to Trump. The argument that other countries didn’t like him, therefore he was bad for this country is stupid I think. Of course they aren’t going to like someone who puts his country first.

Wow, I can’t believe some of y’all are this stupid, and small minded. I get not liking Biden, cause I don’t like him either. He’s terrible, worst President we’ve ever had, going to frick this country, but Putin is an imperial tyrant, who doesn’t care about anything but his own agenda, to make the West fall to their knees. He doesn’t like Democracy. No different than the Chinese government.

Quit falling for this BS, that Putin is a man of freedom, and is fighting the globalists. That’s not true.

Calm down…..we all know Putin is a bad man but Putin is not what’s wrong with our country. The American Marxists/Groomers are trying to convince gullible Americans that Putin is the reason this nation is teetering on economic collapse…..we know better.

That's not why people disliked Trump.

People disliked Trump because of the way he spoke and his mannerisms/behavior. He was seen as a laughing stock. Most people don't know Trump's policies or 'America-first policies' - they just saw someone who used to tweet a lot, was fairly unpredictable, and said insane things.

The average person doesn't really know foreign policy or even American foreign policy. The approval rating is largely based on whether countries view you as a laughing stock or not - that's it.

In any case, my point is, Trump was a much bigger laughing stock to the rest of the world if you're going to use laughing stock as a metric.

Nobody cares about Putin, but we ALL knew what would happen every step of the way when Biden started acting.

Those billions going into Ukraine are not fighting the war. It's funneled. And the "President" of Ukraine has had people... generals ARRESTED for speaking out on those matters.

The issue here is PUTIN is smarter than BIDEN!

The Russian rouble being stronger doesn't mean anything. The Russian economy is being shattered at the moment.

Even the US could make the US currency stronger but it would end up damaging the economy.

No, you're getting played by the narrative that Putin has tried to spread.

You've tried to argue that currency strength shows that Russia is growing stronger - it shows the opposite.

Anyone can have a stronger currency if they want to destroy their domestic economy.

No, you're getting played by this narrative that Putin is trying to set lol.

Russia has heavily restricted capital from flowing out of the country (the US could do the same if they wanted) in order to maintain the strength of the ruble. In the mean time, their economy is being destroyed despite the value they're gaining from exports of natural gas.

They're in a much weaker position than you'd think. Biden could restrict capital flow tomorrow and the value of the dollar would increase as well.

Lmao you’re so stupid. Come talk to me at the end of the year, and we’ll see how that Ruble and Russian O&G is doing. Just wait and see. You’ll see everything really go into effect in a few months.

Well some of it is because of Russia. All this inflation and shite, is because of covid lockdowns, stimulus payments, Biden and the Dems, and Putin’s war in Ukraine. No one except a small portion of people actually believe the BS Biden is telling anyone.

I know we just disagreed on something, but this is spot on. shite doesn’t happen overnight. Things are going to look very bad in a few months for Russians. Their citizens are starting to feel the affects now. Many are starting to lose money, or any Russian accounts that are frozen, money is being taken out of their frozen accounts, and given to Ukraine.

Can you imagine how this went down:

Biden Admin: People are saying Biden is used up and barely functioning. We have to find a way to inject some vitality into the president's image.

PR Peon: What if we had him ride a bike?

Biden Admin: Can he ride a bike? I mean is he physically capable?

Biden: Now wait a minute. I can ride a...

Jill Biden: Yes, yes, honey. You're very brave.

Biden Admin: But seriously. Can he?

*awkward stares around the room*

Biden: Darn it! I can ride a bike. You don't forget how to ride a bike. It's a thing! I can ride a darn bike.

*uncomfortable silence*

Biden Admin: All right. I guess he's riding a bike to show he still can. But I want to see some practice runs first.

Liberal link

Russia is winning the economic war - and Putin is no closer to withdrawing troops

the sanctions have had the perverse effect of driving up the cost of Russia’s oil and gas exports, massively boosting its trade balance and financing its war effort. In the first four months of 2022, Putin could boast a current account surplus of $96bn (£76bn) – more than treble the figure for the same period of 2021.

Again.. you are ignorant.

BTW.. The USA economy shrank in the first 3 months.

If Trump was mocked globally, that's not being respected. That's the opposite. Nobody respected Trump - the GOP thought he was a joke and I spoke to a Trump official who openly said that the GOP leadership thought he was a joke.

Trump absolutely was not a force to be reckoned with. People thought he was a buffoon and a tool that people could use to their own advantage.

His own cabinet thought he was a joke. It's been reported that people in the GOP laughed behind his back.

When my Dad was his age, he probably couldn’t ride a bike either. But even with his oncoming dementia he was still wise enough to know it would be foolish to try.

Not as much as the Russian economy is projected to.

quote:

You're too ignorant to understand that sanctions have multiple objectives. One of those objectives was to weaken Russia's currency but it's not the only objective (the other objective is to shrink the economy which sanctions are doing).

You seriously tried to argue currency strength showed Russia was winning the economic war. Their domestic economy is in shatters - linking a piece talking about trade balance doesn't dispute that.

If you had any sort of economics background, you wouldn't seriously be arguing that currency strength shows Russia's in a strong position. You're the kid here because you fail to understand that sanctions don't just have one objective.

Reducing the value of the ruble/rouble is a quick way of bringing Russia to their knees but the overall shrinking of the domestic economy is another.

So, once again, you misunderstand and conflate three different things.

Trade Balance isn't the same as Domestic Economy and it isn't the same as Currency Strength.

Currency strength is a weak form of protection against sanctions but it does little to erode the Russian economy shrinking.

Again, you are ignorant and misunderstand basic economics. To keep the currency strong, Russia has had to limit capital flow in and out of the country.

quote:

BTW.. The USA economy shrank in the first 3 months.

You are ignorant.

Russia's economy has been shrinking for a lot longer than the first quarter of 2022.

LINK

Click 'Russia' and you'll see that Russia's economy has been shrinking for a long time. Their GDP per capita is abysmal and remains small.

Russia's currency getting stronger doesn't at all show that Russia is winning the economic war. Their domestic economy is shrinking - the sanctions are still working.

As I've pointed out (yet you seem to ignore), the US could easily strengthen their own currency but it would heavily damage the US economy. It's a meaningless victory because you've accepted the narrative by Putin that he's somehow holding steady.
