Those kids were innocent. There was no physical evidence connecting them to the crime. Forcing a confession from a mentally challenged kid is not evidence of guilt. DNA evidence at the scene didn't match any of them. If they were so guilty, why did the prosecutors let them out of jail on an Alford plea? That is nothing but the prosecutors trying to save face for an overzealous prosecution of innocent people based on flimsy evidence.

Nah. I don't even think they were involved. Best case, they knew something was up with the creepy stepfather and stayed out of it. But, I just don't believe those kids did that heinous shite.

I'm certain enough about the CP5 I would have voted to convict (as I would have for Avery), but all cases like that get overly politicized which does hurt those wrongfully accused, IMHO.
