To be honest, anarchy doesn’t seem that far off. Luigi Mangione killed a man in cold blood just because of who he worked for and he is viewed as an American hero. I believe violence against people considered the rich will increase in the coming years and won’t be denounced by a large portion of the population, which will lead to more people wanting to be “heroes” and committing their own acts of violence.

The assassination attempt on a presidential candidate should have been a bigger deal, but a lot of people think the world would be better off without this guy so they stayed silent on it and it was barely discussed. Anarchy and chaos are not far off.

Well, you have to have people do certain jobs that don’t pay much - not everyone can be CEO - but when they can’t afford food, housing, medical or other essential items you will have anarchy.

this increasing inequality between haves and have nots feels like it will be detrimental in the long run from an economics standpoint. We’ve definitely seen this pattern many times throughout history and it never ends well.

It's far from detrimental economically. They are also the people generating trillions in wealth for others.

It doesn't end well, because poor people believe they are entitled to what other people have, and eventually convince themselves that it was somehow stolen from them. In the past, that has usually been he case.

That is absolutely untrue this time, but the Dems are already pushing it.

Maybe, but not if Trump can generate enough economic growth to offset spending cuts that will hurt the economy. A booming economy placates a lot of the people drawn to stupidity.

I would suspect that after you are worth 50 billion, the # no longer really matters. You can do what you want, when you want to whomever you want. It's just fukk everyone wealth by that point.

He started the trust with $5 billion. It's up to $40 billion plus, but most of that was BRKA growth.

He's still worth $100 billion personally.

I really think one of these folks should invest $1 billion in me. They wouldn’t get any return, but it would make me happy.

Idiot Muir at ABC was criticizing Trump by surrounding himself with rich people. Well, poor people aren't the ones building factories and creating jobs so what was his point? I don't recall him criticizing demorats for their associations with rich folk.

Meh. Not really a fan of this list. 90% of their wealth is tied up in stocks and stocks options which can change drastically and in many instances, they don’t even have access to because of a myriad of stipulations.

Elon probably only has direct access to 10 billion dollars of his wealth lol

I’ve heard it said before that people like this could easily destroy economies by giving everyone just 1 million bucks
