The spice must flow (Rescheduling Psilocybin)
I've tried to get a mega/perma thread on this to no avail.

A few perhaps relevant links:

Rick fricking Perry of all people promotes psilocybin research for vets in Texas

Heroic Hearts - charity serving badly afflicted vetersans (PTSD, addictions, etc.) with psychedelics

Vets - another such charity

Legal psilocybin-assisted retreat in Jamaica - read the reviews

I could go on and on, but I'll stop there for now.

“Work on getting weed rescheduled by the FDA instead.” Weed is - or ultimately becomes - an intoxicant which pacifies any motivation for higher vision. It’s basically the ‘colorful’ and flamboyant and trivial version of alcohol. For most of the weak minded, it’s a dead end to dependency. Not so with Pscb. Too much truth there. And most “can’t handle the truth “. Not that I did not enjoy or begrudge weed’s positive effect, but it will never be a tool or inspiration as a visionary basis for any great spiritual or worldly culture. IMO.

And that is perfectly fine with those that just use it to relax. Different drugs, different purposes.

Right. But the thrust of rescheduling psychedelics is - at least to begin - for mental (and physical) health.

But I damn sure know what taking too much is like, and it's not good. Not good at all.

You know there is a difference between the controlled farming and processing of said product versus fishing the slimy bastards out of cow-patty in rural Macon County?

That doesn't really address what he was saying.

It's also not good, not good at all to take a wide variety of legal drugs and foods. That's just not an argument for them not being legal.

I'm very interested in some of their results using mushrooms and other psychoactives to treat PTSD

The early results are staggering. Absolutely demolishing SSRIs and other big pharma crap. Big pharma is the biggest threat, IMO. 2-3 psilocybin sessions can keep from you from needing a pill a day for the rest of your life.

Psychedelics have come a long way since their hallucinogenic hippy heyday. Research shows that they could alleviate PTSD, depression and addiction.w

Has anyone actually done this?

Seems like a set up. No way a website is openly shipping weed and shrooms around the country.

Yep...and ironically I don't think I can recall a single post thread that was politics centered.

Israeli government was also conducting clinical trials using THC for PTSD involving the Mecholaum (sp?) family (Raphael was “discoverer” of the THC molecule and his son is also in medical research involving cannabinols).

The old man still believes in control and regulation though. How people can conclude that a non fatal natural plant deserves to be so highly regulated and controlled as to warrant a death sentence in some countries for simply possessing it is insane. Makes as much sense as naming Orville Redenbacher #1most wanted.

I want to try it so bad. I just don’t know where to get it. I was listening to that word smithing psychedelic dude for a few weeks talking about everything. He died in his 50’s with some rare brain tumor. Can’t remember his name. He was the leader of the whole movement
