A friend of my wife has been a Denver PD for over 25 years. She asked him about the legalization of weed there. His answer was is smells like pot everywhere. Thus confirms his comment.

Well the country and this state also thinks alcoholics can be a productive person at work, so I think chronic weed smokers can be as well. They just haven’t had the opportunity to do so because of the rules and regulations in the federal government. shite some people who don’t do any kind of substance are less productive members of society than some alcoholics and potheads are. It’s not a straight and for certain answer that smoking weed makes you a less productive member of society. It’s not black and white. I mean in my experience, this wasn’t the case at all. I got an engineering degree for crying out loud, and I was a heavy heavy smoker. And this is within the last several years too so I was smoking this new potent weed that everyone says makes you have more of a problem.

The question was not at all absurdly stupid

Yes it is

You can't determine if person A is more productive than person B if the only thing you know about them is that one of them smokes weed and one of them drinks coffee

It's a stupid question. Period.

All the homosexual references. What's up with that? Literally coming from a guy who got off on watching other men screw his wife too.

It's almost as if it's the individual and not weed. Kinda like it's the individual and not guns in general.

Yet the cafeteria patriots can't seem to wrap their heads around that.

quote:

Oh, oh deary me
My little brother's in his bedroom smoking weed
I tell him he should get up 'cause it's nearly half past three
He can't be bothered 'cause he's high on THC
I ask him very nicely if he'd like a cup of tea
I can't even see him 'cause his room is so smoky
Don't understand how one can watch so much TV
My baby brother, Alfie, how I wish that you could see

Ohh Alfie, get up, it's a brand new day
I just can't sit back and watch you waste your life away
You need to get a job because the bills need to get paid
Get off your lazy arse, Alfie, please use your brain
Surely there's some walls out there that you can go and spray
I'm feeling guilty for leading you astray
Now how the hell do you ever expect that you'll get laid
When all you do is stay and play on your computer games?

I only say it 'cause I care
So please, can you stop pulling my hair?
Now, now there's no need to swear
Please don't despair, my dear mon frère

Oh, little brother, please refrain from doing that
I'm tryna help you out so can you stop being a twat
It's time that you and I sat down and had a little chat
And look me in the eyes, take off that stupid fitted cap

TRUE STORY Alfie is reek.

quote:

Lily Allen released her brilliant debut album ‘Alright, Still‘ almost a year ago, and she’s just dropped the fourth single from it ‘Alfie’. Written about her younger brother, the ska-flecked tune bemoans his lack of ambition and the days he spends smoking weed in his room.

“I just can’t sit back and watch you waste your life away/You need to get a job because the bills need to get paid” she sings over the repetitive jaunty brass line. “Oh, little brother, please refrain from doing that/I’m trying to help you out so can you stop being a twat” Lily adds. Charming! It’s basically three minutes of Lily disapproving of Alfie’s decisions and begging him to get a job, instead of just sitting at home getting high.

Fast forward 12 years and the Internet has just realized who Lily Allen’s brother is, and who the song is about it. Because it’s only bloody Alfie Allen from Game of Thrones, who’s just gone and got himself nominated for an Emmy.

Why are you asking this in the context of weed, particularly considering the current state of its legality? Personally, I'm a proponent of making it legal (it is where I live, at least on the state level, obviously).

Because that’s what the issue is lol is its legality at the federal level. Doesn’t matter what a state wants to do if it’s federally illegal. Certain industries still have to abide by federal law, which means they can not allow people who smoke weed to hold a job. Of course there are ways to get around it but it’s very risky, and I don’t think it’s worth it for me personally, but I still think it’s BS that it’s illegal at the federal level. That’s what the issue is, not what a certain state is doing. Louisiana and a majority of conservative states are not going to legalize it until the federal government changes their legality on it.

It’s mind boggling, but it’s because they still believe that weed, or most of these people would probably call it dope, is bad for you. They still believe the propaganda from the 70s and 80s.

No, that's OK. Made up stuff doesn't bother me. But why do you focus on it, especially considering your degenerate sexual past?

I feel really bad about putting your personal habits out there to embarrass you.

I promise to make it up. No weed for 24 hours, honest. These pots have me in a tizzy.

You don't know anything about me, but we know that you're a cuck alcoholic who can't stop smoking pot and runs away from his problems. Is that why you're so angry?

If I'm not mistaken I believe Roger is a recovered alcoholic that no longer drinks

That's not an easy thing to overcome and he should be praised for that, not shamed
