As someone who loves a good stogey I smoke where it's not bothering anyone else. I don't think it's too much to ask that potheads do the same.

But that's too difficult for them to argue against so they just pretend everybody is a statist. If you're not an anarchist you're a progressive to this brain trust.

I would say you're the progressive and I'm the conservative.

I’d say the same about coffee man. If you can start your day without it, yo have an issue. To each their own.

I mean nobody makes you go out in public. Stay home if you don’t like the smells of the city or do like the rest of us and mind your damn business.

"There really is no reason why it’s federally illegal though."

The only reason they have made it federally illegal is because they cannot figure out a sufficent way to capture taxes on growers and be able to enforce it. It really is all about taxation. The health benefits and/or downfalls to its use are of no consequence to the federal government. Same thing with prostitution.

We were in the French quarter this weekend and saw no less than three fine examples of Nola culture smoking blunts in the open. We all reeked of weed when we got back in the car.

Depends. Sure, you wouldn't want people operating heavy machinery or first responders blazing up. No different than alcohol, I wouldn't want someone under the influence putting others in danger. Some high paying jobs out there don't drug test and if they do they don't care about weed. It's legal in most states in one form or another anyway.

Contrary to what the refer madness crowd will have you believe (while turning a blind eye to alcohol) you can smoke once in a while, hold a high paying job, and be a productive member of society.

Also I'm with others on edibles or vapes, flower just smells way too much and I get some don't like the smell. Just don't be a dick and smoke a bowl in public.

That chronic usage can have adverse effects? You’re saying that’s not true?

I don't have a problem if a business owner says they don't want anyone taking a fat rip on a bong at their establishment. No different than saying they don't want anyone smoking.

What gets me is when someone says "hey it smells like weed all the time, let's just ban it". Yet if we want to really go into this "fabric of society" bullshite let's ban alcohol. There's a whole lot more justification to ban alcohol than there is for weed if we're going to use "fabric of society" as an excuse to usher in more big governemnt.

Oh wait, history already taught us how that went.

This x 100

I don't think people would even have issues with reasonable restrictions saying you can't smoke within X amount of feet from a business entry.

It can be regulated to where it's not a disturbance without being made completely illegal.

Once you are able to accept that you can’t smoke weed and have a good job, even though it’s a ridiculous thing, it’s pretty easy to stop smoking weed.

Depends on the industry

I get tested at my job but I know people with more successful careers that smoke weed or have jobs that don't test them

If you need me to explain why his analogy wasn’t particularly apt, you’ve been smoking too much pot. And you’re a cuck.

Neither are those who trade their wives to other partners and take on other partners themselves. That's so far away from "being a man" you may as well be a feral dog running in a pack of other feral dogs, licking and sniffing each others privates. You're disgusting.
