I haven’t voted for president in a general election since 2012. I vote in the primaries, and I participate extensively in state and local elections, which usually affect my life far more directly.

I reject the idea that any candidate or party is entitled to my vote simply because I dislike the other guy more. My vote belongs to me. It has to be earned. If I believe both choices fail the minimum moral standard required for me to affirmatively support them, I’m perfectly comfortable leaving it blank.

That isn’t political apathy. Apathy would be not paying attention and not participating at all. I participate quite a bit. I simply don’t accept the premise that civic responsibility requires me to choose between two people I consider unworthy of the office.

I understand the lesser-of-two-evils argument. Someone can reasonably conclude that preventing the worse outcome creates a moral obligation to vote for the less objectionable candidate. My conclusion is different: there also has to be room in a democracy for conscience, including the right to say, “None of the above.”

Voting is a right. It isn’t an obligation to validate whatever choices the two party system puts in front of me.

It was spelled out to you by multiple people including people on your side who answered it and the president spelled it out. You are a pussy.
