The Senate DACA bill is a disaster

The Senate DACA deal would do the following:
– DACA amnesty – Undo the rollback of Temporary Protected Status for Haitians, Salvadorans and Nicaraguans which has recently been touted as a white pill on several websites.
In exchange:
– Revamp, but not end, the diversity lottery
– Rework, but not end, the formula for chain migration. DREAMers wouldn’t be allowed to sponsor relatives
– Strengthen the e-Verify system
– Less than $9 billion for some type of physical structure on the Mexican border

Seems like a pretty good compromise bill. Something we used to see all the time 15+ years ago. I guess compromise is a disaster nowadays though.

Trump will sign whatever the GOP puts in from him without reading it. Then he'll tell you to like it. And 90%+ of his supporters, regardless of how they felt about it before, will suddenly decide they love it because Trump told them to.
