McCain blew a bunch of hot air too. He never met a defense appropriations bill or foreign invasion he didn’t support.

First, it'd be nice if states like Texas could vote in some actual Republicans. Abbott? Cornyn? Crenshaw? Christ almighty. Are there any MAGAs in Texas besides Paxton?

it’s NOT DIVIDED YOU LOW IQ shite stirrer.
the Right is in the process of RESTORING the CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC!
and when doing so, TRAITORS dressed as MAGA OR DNC establishment are being exposed and smoked out of their holes that Soros put them in.
they are all being exposed and some are trying to blow it up on their way out or they are trying to Obstruct the Great Orange Man’s Agenda Before it even takes off.
they will all be pushed out with time & they will be exposed, some may even see prison time or at the very least to be abandoned by MAGA constituents and they will have to join the Democrats on the left.
frick anyone trying to divide MAGA, it won’t work

But the fact that you equate HOW a politician advances an agenda with what motivates or gives rise to that agenda tells me you don't comprehend what is being discussed.
It is you who seems confused since you seem to be arguing against a point that I have never once advanced. I never have claimed here or elsewhere that Trump is any type of fiscal conservative. But thanks for reminding me what a condescending prick you can be!

Regan was a conservative who existed in an environment in which he sometimes had to agree to things that ran counter to his philosophy in order to enact the things that he did believe in or accomplish greater goals. But those conditions didn't cause him to believe in what he believed in (or not). Those came from underlying principles.
I understand perfectly what is being discussed and your incessant “butt-monkeying” on why Reagan’s actual record doesn’t match his “fiscal conservative” rhetoric merely illustrates my point. I am much obliged!

Thats pretty much the knock on McCain. However, he was still fiscally conservative.
Not a big fan of McCain, but I dont get the hatred he gets on getss board. But I'm not tapped into the Influencer pipeline

No Roger. No!
McCain was not a fiscal conservative. The Bush, Obama and Trump budgets you so rightly criticize partly resulted from massive defense expenditures. And McCain was a driving force in every single one of these bloated defense budgets.
McCain further was an unapologetic supporter of the MIC. He indeed was a bloodsucking goon who was a devoted supporter of the very worst aspects of the Leviathan State — our nation’s wholly corrupted national security apparatus. The fact that McCain is considered a “conservative” is why the term has been rendered meaningless in today’s political lexicon.

If thats the real knock on Mccain, wait til you hear Trumps statements on why he signed a record setting budget. It was only for one reason, and he gave up a shite load for it.
His record on fiscal issues is far to the right of most modern Republicans. I totally understand he was a whore for the military

The problem is he campaigned on ending the debt after two terms, and halfway through this process he did quite the opposite, even before Covid.
Anyway I think this is all hypothetical, as any real correction will come from a declining economy rather than by a politicians hand. There is too much wealth to gain by stuffing the cookie jar.

McCain was a Deep State monster Roger. Let’s don’t forget McCain was at the center of the 1980s Savings & Loan debacle. His entire political career was as Deep State as it gets.

People don’t need to agree on every issue to coexist. It’s always been that way.

I got destroyed on this thread. I was wrong on my take as evidenced by the massive downvotes. Thanks to all of you for your input. I'm still reading the thread to learn more. This was a damned roast.

1. God did help Trump win, and there's nothing extremist in that statement.
2. Republicans do NOT have to agree on everything, actually never have, and there's
nothing divisive about that state of affairs.
You want lock-step Yes-Men?
I think you're at the wrong rally.
