TL;DR, the longevity genes of QEII's family, particularly the women, is incredibly impressive.

She's obviously part of the global elite, but I've always respected her. Best member of the Royal family, by far.

There have never been any doubts about Prince Philip's political proclivities, and the Queen's are probably similar. Her father was a strong leader, and Churchill, well that goes without saying.

And unlike her sister, father, and grandfather, she avoids tobacco use (which took all of them early). She may be the first British monarch to make it to 100 (and there's probably a lot of people here in the US hoping she does, if for no other reason than to outlive Prince Charles).
