I didn't really think the joke was funny but not for racist reasons, it just seemed random and I'm utterly uninformed about the garbage situation in PR so it fell flat for me. But the fact that so many people are clutching pearls while in sackcloth and ashes is the best evidence that we need to eradicate this progressive disease that is consuming our society. It was a joke! Good joke or bad joke, it was a joke! A joke Trump probably didn't even hear at the time. Trump didn't script it. Trump didn't pre-approve it. He shouldn't have to. This is America, land of the free and free speech, and it was a joke!

So you have 7 days left to grab anybody’s attention. Two are weekend days where nobody pays attention so effectively 5. Two of the five are going to be used up to talk about a comedian’s joke and not about Kamala.

Was the joke funny or appropriate? That’s for you to decide.

Was it strategically effective? You bet!

Monday morning at 8am you decided to ask your sons THREE coaches their opinion on politics so you could come tell strangers about it on a board you "mostly browse" ?

Which one of them is the father? Do they take turns railing your wife or does she like regular trains AND trump trains?

There are over a million PR in Florida... if you go to Orlando, you'll see more PR flags that US flags.

I don't think there is anything wrong with holding two opinions at the same time: - It was a joke, it's unlikely to practically impact anything, it's a double standard to get all worked up about it. - It's dumb to rock the boat even in the slightest when genuinely every metric is moving your way.

I can subscribe to this line of thought.

My son plays baseball for 3 Puerto Rican coaches who have been very openly Trump supporters. I asked their opinion on the jokes last night. They said the Puerto Rican population is very pissed and they are all very concerned about which way a lot of that group of people will vote. Not fear mongering here but was interesting to hear perspective from natives of PR.

I have 6 housekeepers, all PR's. 3 of them started arguing with the other about the joke as they were cleaning this morning. They started a war in my home and they're hurling little pickles at each other like bombs. Help me to understand this!

No you got most of this wrong.

1. Yes I text them organically because we do and have talked politics.
2. They didn’t necessarily become incensed. They said their take was Puerto Ricans in general were pissed.
3. They all 3 already voted Trump.
4. It was just an opinion of how the joke came off.
5. Nope you didn’t understand.

I am not lying. I was just having concerned. Some of you people are insufferable if it’s not exactly how you feel about it. I could care less about the joke. I care about Trump winning and that concerned me.

Similar here. I flew to PR last night actually after the joke to get temperature there, and everyone is now in the Kamala camp.

Why go there man? Why the hatred for me? It’s a message board. Sorry it’s foreign to you to be friends with people to text them thoughts on politics. Really uncalled for.

I find it amazing that you would be hard pressed to find a team with 3 PR coaches outside of the traditional PR strongholds (which is not Nashville). Equally amazing you then have a poster of tigerdroppings that happens to have a kid on this team, Lastly I am completely stupified they were pro-Trump, but a joke was made and now they must re-think everything in life.

I'm flying to PR today to go gauge how the joke went. I'm report back my findings. My housekeepers killed each other with little pickles, so I'm recruiting more.

If that joke had the power to sway someone to vote for Kamala, they were never voting for Trump in the first place.

This is a nothingburger.

I thought about doing this but decided to fly them all to me. It was a wild night.

What time?

So your 3 contacted all of puerto rico over a joke most people weren't aware of until the MSM started gaslighting everyone again, but only after you texted them? Again, what time did you text your puerto ricans?

3. They all 3 already voted Trump.

But, the joke was so "over the line" that all of PR is in revolt? Got it.

4. It was just an opinion of how the joke came off.

By whom? You? The concern troll.

We know. There's a lot of "concern" being posted the last couple weeks. Sorry for your loss.

2 of them Coach my sons team. 1 of them is hitting instructor. I actually know 5 guys from Puerto Rico all involved in baseball in middle TN. It appears starting this thread was a mistake because people don’t want to hear anything negative.

Doesn't everyone have 3 puerto rican baseball coaches? My 6 year old has 5 brazillian soccer coaches. My 10 year old has 12 kenyan cross country coaches. Not hard to believe bro. Just concerned, bro.
