Protesting works when you are the majority and can remain peaceful. It's all about who is first to act and who controls the narrative.
If the establishment acts first against a non-violent protest, then the message of the protest is sympathized with.
The protest also needs to make sense. Protesting a war is fine, protesting equal rights is fine. This current protest is anything but that.
It's violent and is waged against a constitutional institution that democratically elected Trump. It's only proving our point.

yep, which just means they don't dig into facts. They chase the narrative of journalist. I do think that this election showed we can break the dem plantation though. They weren't as excited about clinton, and now we have a chance to actually help inner cities if they are willing to do some work themselves.

The issue is this protest will never remain peaceful. Its not the lefts MO. Also people have figured it out, you give them enough rope and they will eventually get violent and then you shut it down. BRPD did an excellent job of not bum rushing them and making the protestors look like the complete shite heads they were.

This election will be extremely interesting to study. I had suspected for a while the dem circus tent would eventually cave in on itself. You can only hold every minority group in a pack for so long. They isolated and let the whackos run off their blue collar worker support and Trump was the perfect person to tap into those votes.
If we let the white SJW keep pandering to the muslims, I think eventually most of the gays can be slipped to the right if we get off stupid social platforms. Which I have said for a while that we should put down the extreme religious right side of the party. Where are they going to go? 3rd party, nope, liberal nope. They might stay home but you win more indys and steal the left that doesn't want to go full communism.
I think as of now its going to continue because the left has an ego issue. They don't realize they are off base from what the normal every day american wants. They see the squeaky wheel and chase it. FWIW the right does the same shite but Trump was just able to tap to normal american citizen.
I hope Bernie bros keep it up, I really don't think they would ever let him become the face of the party. He has always been on the outside.
