Take a tylenol or ibuprofen
I have seen on tv that you should not do that because it can reduce the effectiveness of the vaccine.

But of course you should ask a doctor.

There is literally no significant data that suggests that is true.

Nope. Trump supporters are different from random Democrat supporters. Trump supporters will disagree with trump and not follow him off a bridge.

Democrat supporters...those motherfrickers blindly worship their designated Democrat messiahs..and do everything they're told to do, no questions asked.

Some...

Plenty of Trump supporters abandoned their own long held ideals to become cultists.

It’s not even a vaccine by the cdc definition. Stick that shite up your arse.

It's amazing you made such a bold statement based on the little I said

I've been working in the medical field over 15 years. Tell me more about risks vs benefits in the model of medicine.

well its not really amazing or bold. its obvious when you think the risks of the vax outweigh the benefits... that despite your 1over 5 years of 'medical field' involvement you are patently lacking basic information.

quote:

You do realize x-rays were at once "safe and for all" until well, they weren't. Just using that as a simple example.

Xrays are pretty much safe for all, except in a small amount of very specific scenarios (pregnancy). much like vaccinations theres a reason Xrays are done shitloads, they are safe except for specific scenarios.

quote:

Tell me even more about herd immunity.

Well I wasnt even referring to that. it doesnt even matter because the vaccine's risk to the individual is equivalent to other vaccines we give routinely, for diseases less fatal than covid like chickenpox.

quote:

It's pretty ignorant of you to believe some studies that are short term. Show me the LONG term studies....you know, years from now. You don't have any.

By the way, how do you make such a bold statement such as that I'm speaking solely out of emotion???

not very bold. BC you clearly aren't referencing data if you think getting a covid vax is more dangerous than not. It is as safe as vaccines we use routinely for less deadly illnesses such as chicken pox. There is no meaningful data that suggests or predicts otherwise.

YeAh BuT MUh LoNG tErM. you might as well believe the covid shot will make you get struck by lightning, its about as reasonable than your position.

this is literally the opposite of truth.

cdc definition: Vaccine: A product that stimulates a person’s immune system to produce immunity to a specific disease, protecting the person from that disease. Vaccines are usually administered through needle injections, but can also be administered by mouth or sprayed into the nose.

cdc data: Based on evidence from clinical trials, the Moderna vaccine was 94.1% effective at preventing laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 illness in people who received two doses who had no evidence of being previously infected.

you either don't know the definition or don't know the effects of the vaccine, either way you have potato level knowledge.

Almost the entire base got vaccinated here last Thursday afternoon. I would estimate around 70% of those that got vaccinated had major side effects about 12 hours later.

And these are young, healthy soldiers for the most part.

You are either vastly overestimating the % affected/what is actually a 'major' side effect, or are witnessing extreme statistical anomalies.

The entire premise of a vaccine is to establish antibody resistance to the virus. If I already have antibodies on board, why must I "risk" taking a vaccine that was rushed out to establish antibodies I already have?

Do you not get the simple concept you dumbass? I do not believe in taking a risk for no true benefit

I work in the field of radiology. I forgot more about x-ray than you think you might know. What I am simply getting at is that, at one time, in x-ray's infancy, it was thought there was no risk associated with them. They used x-ray for fun basically until a good friend of Edison died from it (Clarence Dally, first documented death due to radiation). Yes, x-ray is now safe because exposure thresholds and strict regulation was enacted after much studying of radiation and its effects. We still however operate in a "Linear no-threshold (LNT) manner", simply meaning that we create as little exposure as possible to the population.

We know thresholds of exposure and what they cause but we still do not take chances. We also use the model of ALARA, As Low As Reasonably Achievable, because radiation is not as safe as you make it out to be but hell, I'm sure you knew all of this already. Carry on looking like an idiot

First - its not a vaccine- its an experimental drug with an emergency approval. Just get the facts straight and no one know the long term affects.
