That’s kind of what you get with anonymous message boards. Many people talk like they know. Some do know. Some do not. Many of us are in between and know at least something. Almost none of us are experts. Like just about any measurement involving humans and human behavior, the curve is usually bell-shaped.

Confirmation bias is human nature. We are all prone to it (including you), but to varying degrees.

As far as what could have been done, not really a lot I mean, maybe there are 100 or so Texas voters on this page actively reading the threads. Even if it was 10 times that it wouldn't have changed the outcome of the election.

The hyperbole was to try to get some attention about it because there is so much misinformation on this board and a ton way too much confirmation bias on this board

As a Christian first Coservative second, I fear what this country can turn into if Texas becomes Democrat It's not becoming Democrat but it's going to become a lot more Democrat for the next few years because Texas Republicans, just like this board, are so full of their own pride and assurance that they never consider that other people might disagree with them, and at a certain point those other people become the majority


I am more than happy to have a rational, reasonable discourse with anyone on this board who chooses to do so
but there's very little of that

And for emphasis, I've stated on here before: I worked and still do work in politics for Republicans in Texas have done so for nearly 40 years successfully

I think that does give me a little bit of familiarity with these issues


I nailed it September two years ago that Trump was going to win when the Democrats walked out of the Texas legislature I explained that it was pure theater and nothing would happen to the Democrats

both turned out to be true and accurate

sadly, I fear I was right about the Senate race,, I've said for a while Republicans are gonna lose at least two statewide elections this year.

In Harris County thats Houston we're gonna lose 2 to 4 incumbents to Democrats


and its not that the dems are better,,Republicans have been lazy and assuming the win for 20 years
