I don’t think any Catholic politician is a citizen of the Vatican city state. Why is it ok for members of congress to be dual citizens of Israel & the United States? Kvetch all you want

I'm sorry. You all must've have missed the part of history/geography where on every map it said "Syria Palestina" or something close to that, where it now says "Israel" since the 5th century BC.
Herodotus wrote about a place he called "Palaistine" in the 5th century BC.

You are entitled to your own opinion but not your own facts. There were centuries where the map said "Rome", "Athens", "Crusader States", "Judea", "Ottoman", "Byzantine", "Mamluk", "Macedonia", etc...
And the population was majority Jewish until 50CE, Christian until 500CE, and Muslim after.
If you want to play "who was here first" or "who has the right to be here" it's going to be a long night of arguing. And that's my point. Pick any point of land that is inhabited in the world and I'll name a few groups of people that claim it.
