Were you this upset when Ukraine was bombing civilians for the last 8 years? No, then go be upset in OT with the snowfalkes.

There’s less to talk about now that the Russians have retreated from Kyiv… a lot less footage… the wars moved east where it’s less populated.
As a result this thread (and the OT one) has just devolved into shitposting.

It seemed too crazy to be a legitimate effort with the amount of troops they had. 200k is not a sufficient number to invade a country of that size and landmass.
Perhaps tying up a lot of UAF near Kiev, it gave them time to hit enough infrastructural targets that would later prevent mobilization towards the East when Russia was going to cut off East Ukraine forces. Ukraine lost most of their airforce and most of their armor. If Russia succeeds in taking most of the Black Sea coast, it will be viewed as a pretty damn successful war move.
As to the troop losses, I'm afraid Putin is willing to sacrifice 50k to accomplish this goal.
We'll just have to wait
