Ukrainians who are bad
The Ukrainian citizens are not the bad guys. Everyone hates they are caught up in this geopolitical war the US started. I feel sorry for them. This narrative that Russians are destroying everything is false. I got downvoted when I said Azov was killing and shelling Ukrainian areas, and hiding in schools, hospitals, etc. it’s all true, but people don’t want to believe it with hundreds, thousands of reports from all over confirming it. They are bad people who hate a good portion of Ukrainian citizens. This leads to many civilian deaths, which Azov themselves are doing. Half of the destruction in cities is Azov. That’s a fact

Here’s a good one I saw a few weeks into the conflict. Several anti-aircraft weapons lodged between apartment buildings in residential backyards. This is an actual war crime

It will be interesting to see what kind of production the Kadyrovites put together, they've had a whole month now.

As Russia's ambassador to Sweden, Viktor Tatarintsev, told Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet days before the invasion began, when the West ramped up threats of financial penalties in a futile effort to prevent military action, "Excuse my language, but we don't give a shite about your sanctions."
The demise of the Soviet Union, he has famously said, "was the most catastrophic geopolitical event of the 20th century" (worse, even, than World War II, in which 20 million Soviet citizens were killed). His resentment over what happened to his country, particularly in the immediate aftermath of the Soviet collapse, is more widely shared by Russians than many in the West appreciate.
83% of Russians Approve of Putin’s Actions as President in New Survey
Poll finds 83% approval for Putin, highest since 2017
Russia has cheap, vodka, bread, women, and lead.

Clinton continues in damage-control mode. “I know this is a political problem for you at home,” he says, later in the conversation, “and I will do anything I can to put it right and restart the diplomacy at any point in this. I’d give anything not to have to make this telephone call today, but we have no choice.”
Yeltsin just gets sadder. “Our people will certainly from now have a bad attitude with regard to America and with nato,” he says. “I remember how difficult it was for me to try and turn the heads of our people, the heads of the politicians towards the West, towards the United States, but I succeeded in doing that, and now to lose all that. Well, since I failed to convince the President, that means there in store for us a very difficult, difficult road of contacts, if they prove to be possible. Goodbye.”
A...aand that was the birth of Putinism.
Serbia is Russia’s traditional ally, and American military intervention will show that Moscow is helpless either to protect or influence it.

Ukrainians have been using human shields. Hundreds of mercenaries who managed to get away told their accounts

If the Russians did not invade the Ukraine there would be no AA batteries in cities, no cities would be shelled and no civilians would be war casualties, right?
Russia is clearly the instigator if all this and there is no moral or ethical reason to justify their invasion.

Man so many of y’all are loonies. Taking the side of Russia in this conflict. Embarrassing to think I have a lot of the same values as you guys.

Did you crawl from under a rock?
War in Ukraine has been going on for 8 years, with nationalists in Ukraine killing Russian separatists. 83% in Russia support the war- that means Putin clearly had good enough motive to sell this costly war.
Russia has had more than enough justification to invade Ukraine than US ever had to invade any of the countries we invaded in the last 50-60 years.
The OT dork squad is in full force here today.

Russian separatists shouldn’t be in Ukraine. They should just move to Russia if they want to be apart of it so much. They’re nothing more than terrorists, end of story.

Yeah and 95% of Chinese citizens will support an invasion of Taiwan, and 99% of North Koreans want Kim Jong Un as their leader. Reason why it isn’t 100% in any of those countries, it’s because they “believe in free speech”.

bullshite. US had no justification for invading Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, or getting itself involved in Middle Eastern affairs. Russia had no justification getting involved in Afghanistan, Georgia, Syria, and now Ukraine. The justifications for Russia invading Ukraine are asinine, and anyone who thinks otherwise, is a fool, who is a traitor to this country.
Just cause the US has its faults, doesn’t mean Russia should get a pass. I guess you also believe that black people should get reparations, because of how terrible the US use to be to them pre Civil War.

260 Ukrainians surrendendered in Mariupol. It was 10s-20s, now it's by 100s. From yesterday.
I mean, it was going to happen eventually. The city has been surrounded by land and sea for over a month, so credit to them for holding out this long. You can only fight so long cut off from supplies before you run out of ammo and food to continue the fight.
