makes it okay for Russia

Our own personal opinions, feelings and judgments are irrelevant now. It's ridiculous to argue with one another about our support for Ukraine or Russia. As for me personally, I know that Russia's invasion is illegal and immoral. I also believe that the UN and USA ignored the Donbass violence, even though they knew full well what was happening there. IMHO, the UN and USA had a duty to address the Donbass violence years ago and failed to do their duty. But, honestly, can a US citizen EVER expect the US Govt to serve the best interests of the US citizen? I say, "no".

Americans should recognize that the Donbass violence was on-going and that nobody in the US or UN made any effort to help peacefully resolve the issues causing that violence. We let it fester and, now, it has metastasized into something that the UN and USA will have a MUCH more difficult time resolving.

bullshite I am making no attempt. I've watched your Oliver Stone documentaries, spent several hours reading about the war in the Donbas region, & I also read Russian sources. Yes, it lowered my faith in American foreign policy (which was already low), but nothing I have seen has made me think Ukrainian citizens deserve what is happening to them. I've admitted that the Ukrainian MOD is throwing out absurd statements that are largely false and posted the corrections when I found out something was a lie.

You, Timmy, are the one who has made no attempt to see the other side. You literally eat up Russian state media releases word for fricking word. I honestly haven't seen you discredit a single Russian statement, almost all of which have been proven false.

Russia is prosecuting an illegal and immoral war, period. Putin's pretexts for this invasion do indeed have weight, however, and, if the United Nations and the USA's Foreign Policy Expert POTUS Biden were worth a damn (which they are not) then Russia's legit issues would have been addressed BEFORE Putin chose this illegal war.

One reason why Trump was illegally ousted from Office, IMHO, is because those who profit from war and chaos were afraid that Trump would INDEED address Russia's legitimate concerns and try to solve them peacefully - and most frightfully for the War Pigs - Trump may have succeeded.

I see the fricking US side every day in the media. I live here. Everyone knows our side in this. What we don’t know is the Russian side, because our propaganda networks blocked out coverage. I’m not like you. I actually search out truth and a deeper understanding of the world around me. I’m no supporter of any government in this. I know the US’s role and Russia’s role in this.

Be very cautious reciting any opinion you form based on MSM’s ‘News’ reports. They are proven compulsive liars with political agendas.

It's very suspicious the way that it seems like some very influential forces/people on the US and Globalist scene did nothing to try to prevent this war. This willful and complete disregard for years of the Donbass violence almost seems intentional. And then the way that Trump was cheated and harassed out of office - CONSTANTLY and falsely being accused of being a "Russian Agent" - it's almost as though these forces that wanted war were anxious to keep Trump from being in a position that might have AVOIDED this war through negotiation.

It's all very suspicious to me, and, I think is stinks to high heaven. I'm suspicious that some very influential people in the USA and in the Global community WELCOMED this war - for what reason, I don't know, but, I suspect that these War Pigs hope to PERSONALLY profit in some way from this war.

I am very cynical and suspicious at this point in US History.

Definitely. What i worry about is where Russia is taking over

They are going for the areas that have all the seeds, wheat and iron ore in Ukraine

They will have a monopoly on all of that. Plus the gas and fertilizer

That war in Donbass - on-going for years. Not one peep out of the UN or the USA. US media completely silent for years.

The war continue because of US support. Without our military aid and political backing, Kiev would have been forced to make peace with the rebels, and adopt the federal solution that Russia proposed.

I mean, the US helped push that violence in donbass. That’s why they don’t talk about it. How much does the American public know about the destruction we caused in the dozens of coups and color revolutions we started in other countries? The answer is pretty much none

Anyone seen any other reports on this?

UAE has called for the withdrawal of all foreign occupation forces in Syria, there illegally and without invitation. That means Russia and Iran can stay and everyone else needs to leave including the US.

If Putin was so outraged why did he wait 8 years to do something about it? He doesn’t give a shite about those people.

Exactly, they have turned into pro cancel culture for Putin like he is some saving grace of Ukrainian Russians like he wasn’t in power in 2014 when all of this crap started.

1) The situation in Mariupol is grim. From @nytimes: "Street battles broke out in Mariupol ... as Russian troops and allied irregular forces moved into the city ..."

quote:

2) "Residents who fled the city in recent days have described scenes of dead bodies dotting the streets, widespread looting and the suffering endured by thousands who remain trapped without heat or water."

quote:

3) "Ukrainian government reported that its forces were outgunned, that attempts to provide air support had failed and that it had “temporarily” lost contact with the city’s officials."

quote:

4) "A recently evacuated resident said friends and family who had remained in the city told her the Russian flag was already flying in some districts, and that there were tanks and non-Ukrainian soldiers on the streets."

quote:

5) "Sounding a note of resignation, an adviser to the Ukrainian president said on Friday, 'There is no chance for lifting the siege of Mariupol.'"

quote:

6) Clearly Russian troops have broken through the Ukrainian's defensive line, are occupying some districts in the city, and are attempting to defeat the remaining forces there.

quote:

7) The neo-Nazi Azov Battalion, which is part of the Ukrainian National Guard, is fighting there & has a headquarters in the city. Expect the Russians to give the Azov Battalion no quarter. This may prolong the fight & lead to greater civilian suffering.
