Im not pulling for Ukraine for Zelensky.
Hell, I actually agreed with the other non-interventionist that we should give Putin/Russia a buffer zone.
But that was before that egomaniac decided to invade the entire country like this.
Russia's military bogged down in some kind of protracted irregular war/occupation would be about the best lesson to teach them to stay within their own borders.
Putin getting embarrassed might actually accelerate him getting replaced.

Maybe only a couple dozen total. They've been asking people for weeks not to take pictures of troops, equipment, or their locations. Their SOF guys have been wreaking some havoc on those smaller convoys, particularly north & west of Kyiv.

Thats the neocons and neoliberals who want the USA to get involved. Yes Zelensky asked for a no fly zone but I highly doubt he believed he would get it. He asked for a no fly zone so that he could have roome to negotiate and still get resupplied with stingers and other anti-air defenses. If Trump had done that then most of the posters here would have been bragging about the art of the deal. However, when another leader does it, it’s hysterical propaganda.

Maybe it was as simple as an official not knowing what is true and what is not and passing on a rumor that gets blown out of proportion. Just like the amphibious invasion of Odessa on the first night of the war was originally a Russian marine operation, then got misreported as the US marines landing in Odessa, then turned out to be no amphibious operation at all. Looks like they have decided to encircle and bypass Chernihiv. The Uke's have been fighting like hell there reportedly and it's holding up the advance on Kiev on that axis.
