Maybe blindly supporting individuals solely because of political affiliation is not the best idea...

What political affiliation? The fact that he exercised his Constitutional right to keep and bear arms politically affiliates him? Tell me, what political affiliation do the people who exercise their right to an attorney have?

Do you have a 16-17 yr old son that hunts? If so, do you hunt right beside him and carry the only firearm for you to hunt with?

Interesting intellectual exercise. If a 6 year had the money and could accurately describe the gun...hmmm

So while the NRA waits around and allows the left to write the negative public narrative about Kyle, the GOA is helping the patriot prepare an actual legal defense.

Yeah, I'll go with the GOA approach

I belong to both

Mine are adults. But, they all had to take hunter safety courses and I had to be within eye distance of them until 16 I think (maybe not the oldest because he was already hunting before they passed that law). Been too long ago. But, we could both have guns.

When I did the lifetime membership with the NRA this is exactly the kind of opportunity I thought was funding. Shmoozing politicians is not what I want to spend money on: I want the NRA to fight the important fights that result in strengthening the precedents that protect our freedoms.

For chrissakes. Do something that matters NRA. It ain't defending bumpstocks.

So you can see the difference in carrying a semi-auto 12 ga or a .22 semi-auto for hunting for a 16-17 yr old vs a 16-17 yr old carrying a Glock 22 .40 cal. Long guns are treated differently from semi-auto handguns.

Well, we were hunting deer with a 16 inch minimum. A 17 year old with a semi auto rifle in a hostile mob is just a little bit different. A 140 inch Boone and Crockett doesn't shoot back.

Nor will they mob up and beat you to death, or crack your skull with a skateboard.

I think it is too soon for them to say anything. The investigation isn't complete.

They need to wait for the facts or risk looking like Jugears. The left can get a pass for that shite but NRA would get butchered by the Soros owned MSM..

Why? The evidence is clear. Even if the guy is guilty of a misdemeanor weapon charge, the facts surround him defending his life at as cut and dried as they can be. The NRA isn’t a political candidate, and if you think Soros isn’t making every move he can against the NRA already, you haven’t been paying attention.

Here is the problem and why they may be right. Videos surfacing of him hitting a female.

I'd rather they wait for everything to come out before the left can have a gotcha on them.

Not saying that would topple them, but imagine sticking up for someone then it comes out they actually did some pretty terrible shite, or that he shot into a crowd before all this.

Idk,better to wait.

Lol. I won my first wrestling tournament as a 4th grader, wrestling with my brothers junior high wrestling team against kids 5 and 6 years older than me. I won my first golden gloves boxing tournament at 12 years old, my second at 14, and a junior olympics silver medal at 15. I’m now old, and fat, and half broken down from the fighting I’ve done, but judging by your mouth, I’d bet I could still hold my own with you.

I would add Philando Castile to this. CC permit holder who announces to police officer and is shot to death for his troubles.
