Well it has been a long con because I have been pretty consistent about it for a few years and openly discussed it.

I wouldn't call .04% of the population a majority.
Of course it is. Silly literalist.

it really is fascinating how the libs are not just against the gofundme but are ANGRY and feel like they have to tear it down
I do not think that anyone is “against” the GoFundMe OR that they are “angry.”

They are “against” the concept of a border Wall, and they find it hilarious that anyone sees one-half of one percent as a “majority,” whether “silent” or otherwise.

The gullibility of this scenario is directly paraallel to the gullibility of buying anything that Trump is selling, from 2016 and into the future.

Lets just see what happens, it's still early and is going to make the news cycle soon.

I am willing to bet that if it gets high enough you will see legislators take notice, seeing the people willing to put up their own money instead of someone else's is an extreme rarity in US politics.

The entire platform of the current Progressives is that we must pander to and accept the wishes of every group no matter how small.

Hypocrit.

No it doesn’t. And yes, it can.

They already know people support it. Signing your name on some stupid gofundme and donating your money to a useless cause isn’t going to make a single person in all of Congress change one single thing they do.

I cannot understand how you guys just insist that 200,000 people doing this is indicative of anything. Or sends any type of message about the will of he public. Everyone already knows where Trump’s base stands.

Money is not why the wall isn’t getting built. Giving the government .01% of the costs is not going to get the wall built, and a couple hundred thousand people saying they want a wall is not getting the wall built.

Amazing how gullible people are

Only 17 billion 989 million to go.

At this rate it will be many years.
People will need to leave their estates to the wall. Eminent domain tussle.
Isnt this a private use?

You guys are beginning to show fear
Is it the fact that it is a steady force moving forward that is unstoppable or you just can't figure out which statue to take down next

The goal is $1billion and at current rate will take just over a year.

That is a remarkable message regardless of affiliation.

Your post proves my point. Why the hell does you or anyone else care about other people donating money to this?

Just go read the other threads on this site. People are pissed that others are putting their money where their mouth is.

I think it's obvious this GoFundMe is not going to raise the entire amount to fund the wall. To think that is insane, but that seems to be the latest talking point to make Trump supporters look "dumb".

1) Political polls sample a MUCH smaller segment of the population than 200000 and there are plenty of people trying to diminish the public support demonstrated by the amount of people taking the affirmative step of donating to a GFM;

2) Many of these same people think that 200000 people marching around in vagina hats was indicative of vast public support of “orange man bad” politics that should eliminate the electoral college.

I say - 200,000 people taking the affirmative step of donating their own money is a true act of civil disobedience-and people are stupid to discount or ignore it.

I mean for crying out loud Democrats said we needed to take seriously person of unidentifiable gender screeching to the point of being arrested in the well of the Senate while pretending to be on its period.

This GoFundMe is many things - but it is NOT stupid.

BUILD THE GODDAMN WALL.

It is more than the money, It is the UNITY that scares them. They have been successful at destroying bonds between people and constructs of our society....

But this is like a snowball rolling downhill that they can neither stop or get out of the way of it rolling over them

So is there an actual plan with this money? Or is it gonna to be laundered in a lawsuit to "force" the feds to build a wall?

Not understanding the meaning of Silent Majority does not surprise, millennias as a group are stupid, lack insight and understanding who would expect different
