I respectfully disagree, although a shift in our ideology and culture is definitely prevalent. There is also an uneasy acceptance of what is the social or political norm now that runs contrary to what most of us have been raised understanding as reasonable.
No "anti" type faction of our society has the numbers to pull off what would be necessary to put on a full blown civil war. The North and the West Coast can eat themselves alive, but that dog won't hunt in the South. Nor would it make it elsewhere if the truth be known, especially if the military had to intervene to quash it.

It is not the conservatives responsibility to judge the liberals as that is God's job however, I guess we could set up the appointment.
