Every politician that gets indicted claims it is politically motivated. I just read about his indictment, and based on what I read, the indictment was justified. Appears they have evidence he was paying employees(many illegal immigrants) cash under the table to avoid payroll taxes.

The vast majority of the appointments made by ANY president in the last half century have been "partisan hacks". Presidents appoint people who think like them and will agree with them more often than not.
