I don't know about masks, but there's no way to practice social distancing while playing basketball.

As someone just mentioned, all the games will be played at Disneyworld, so there will be no home games for fans.

I don't know if they are going to allow people inside the facility or not. This is all about hoping that the television revenue will prompt networks like TNT and ESPN to continue to broadcast the games. After the first few days, I look for ratings to be way down.

It's all about getting paid.

That’s a shame. I can hear the Boo-boop-de-do music all the way from all those league offices. Yet somehow they’ll manage.

All sarcasm aside, they obviously won't be hurt by the decision of one person to tune them out. Congratulations on being right about that.

But, if millions of people decide to tune them out? That could be a whole different ballgame. Stupid pun intended.

I suspect it will become political very quickly
Too late. The league already announced they would be allowing players to put activist messages on the back of their jerseys in place of their last name.

I couldn't care less about the nba. Why would anyone want to watch a street ball game between, what would otherwise be, thug burger flippers?

Fair enough but we both know a very large percentage of those “millions” won’t stay true.

Check saints talk in 4 months and tell me you won’t see fat bastard melting over one of sean Payton’s play calls.

I’m excited to see how much of their fan base they can alienate and how quickly they can do it.

I will most happily enjoy the games and pull for the Zion-led Pels to make the playoffs. I need not agree with someone to enjoy their athletic or artistic exploits.
