CBS News could hardly contain themselves earlier when the original story was making the rounds....They really thought they had him. But the minute they mentioned Buzzfeed and referred to them as “journalists”, something told me to relax. LOL

Problem is that the Mueller “retraction” came at 7 pm Friday news dump.
The original story is out there and many will still buy it.

Yep, I was at the gym and had to endure four TVs worth of pounding this story on national news. By the time I got home, Mueller's statement was out, but the PR damage was done.

Every blatantly false narrative is followed by another blatantly false narrative with no pause in between.
I mean...
Russia. Then hooker piss. Then Russia again. Then chillren. Then thousands of bodies in the streets from tax cuts. Then the Gorsuch melt. Then Omarosa. Then chillren again. Then Russia again. Then Manafort. Then Russia again. Then Stormy and CPL. Then the absolute abomination that was the Kavanaugh melt. And, wait for it.... more Russia! Then Cohen, then illegal campaign contributions. Then muh abused Melania. And chillren again. And then Don Junior. More Russia. More Cohen. More Russia.
I'm not kidding here... I feel sorry for the dims. It must be absolute hell to voluntarily inundate oneself in misery and utter tragedy day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year.
I was never as hysterical as these people are when WJC or BHO were presidents. Never. Policies directly affected me negatively as a middle class blue collar worker, but I just handled my business and kept voting for the good guys. Now, Trump is in, and his policies have affected me positively. It's not perfect and I'm not wealthy by any means but my household is making more, and are more financially secure and stable, than ever before. I even work with two raging liberals who refuse to acknowledge that the Trump business tax cuts resulted in the 20% (Yes, I said 20%) raises that they just got, when we've never gotten greater than 2.5% yearly increases for the last 20 years. But that's not because of Trump... in fact, it's in spite of him.
TL/DR;
If the United States citizenry would be deprived of any and every form of "news" for just 60 days, they'd actually see the current USA for what it is, and realize that things are only as bad as they're making them.
